weird how that "ma and pa's restaurant" cartoon tries to frame "ma and pa's restaurant" as a family business while also saying they have a million positions, so its clearly a MASSIVE chain

visually hamfisted as usual but to be fair it’s saying that millions of people work at small businesses (it’s about half the working population), though it’s a little weird because as many as 499 people can work there and it’s still federally considered a “small biz”. anyway here are some substantive arguments against this kind of horseshit: http://www.dol.gov/minwage/mythbuster.htm

the original phantom (michael crawford) was a tenor but some of the phantoms sing higher or lower than others like some are tenors some are baritones so it depends on which recording you hear

like if you listen to michael crawford and then norm lewis singing the same song there is definitely a noticeable difference in the range they use
