Ghostlings!
Ghostlings are companions to the dead!
They appear whenever someone leaves a gift at a dead person's grave. Ghostlings are the physical proof that someone cared. Normally, Ghostlings only live in the realm of the dead... But something strange happened and now they're everywhere.
Ghostlings are a semi-open species! Anyone can make a common ghostling (as described in the first image) but in order to make uncommon (and higher) ghostlings, you have to join the server.

These beings are as the name suggests, reapers that collect the dead and lead them to the afterlife-
Their light is haunting and hypnotic, used to lure the spirits along with them as they travel back and forth between the mortal world and the spirit realm-
However, not all spirits are so co-operative, as they tend to be timid and easily spooked, which is what the hook/scythe they carry is for, to reach and catch any dead that try to run away-
There are dozens of them all around the kingdom, and they seem to share a hive mind-
However, these beings are also colourblind, and have a pension for mistaking anything small and white for the ghostlings they collect. So it’s usually not advised to wear light coloured clothing at night.
