I gave her a special interest of biology/human biology because it’s something indirectly related to what the boys do, plus I can imagine sun or moon not so subtly asking bio questions to learn about know ways to torture their victims

The basic summary of the au is that Lynn, Lloyd, Hayal and Quetz are merfolk, Akako becomes a mermaid when exposed to water, and Morro is a aquaphobic marine biologist

Akako, Hayal, and the Twins are escapies from a restaurant that would served merfolk meat, Akako was one of the chefs, Hayal was going to be food and the twins were ment to be display fish

One night everything went to shit, the restaurant decided to cook Lloyd but Lynn bit someone's hand off about it, Akakos whole thing got discovered, Hayal was about to be cooked and Morro broke in to the restaurant to save the mers and take them back to a merfolk sanctuary that protects merfolk who are recovering or cannot go back into the Wild, this is were Quetz is a leviathan mer who is a permanent sanctuary resident who washed up on the beach after getting caught by hunters who took some of his scales
