Ilvier — Ugh, how do I translate the sweetness into pictures?

Pictures clearly taken by Ilkay:

Xavier in bed, tangled in blankets and looking comfortable and huggable. Xavier pouting or giving him puppy eyes. Xavier walking ahead, followed by a shot of him looking back. Xavier surrounded by nature or petting some stray animal. Xavier's eyes or his side profile next to the background. Xavier looking at the camera, his cheeks stuffed with food. A sunset, some nature, both their hands as they hold something (food, souvenir, etc) for the camera. Silly selfies just because.

Pictures clearly taken by Xavier:

The one blurry picture with Ilkay's gummy smile. Ilkay making lots of silly faces because he's not very photogenic (his >:] face is Xavier's favorite) while posing for Xavier. Ilkay existing; driving, eating, reading something, looking at him with a hand reached out for Xavier to take. Ilkay daring to try something new while Xavier watches....

Candid moments in general because those two can't stop themselves from taking pictures of each other. And the occasional picture taken by a kind stranger as both of them pose.

Irayel — two people who know about photography get put together.... Of course the aesthetics are gonna go crazy.

Doodles done in the sand. Selfies with Rafayel. Pictures of the beach (because yeah, she needs to be close to the beach) Rafayel in the water, Rafayel looking at her, Rafayel sitting next to her, holding out his fork for her to try his food. The sunset or sunrise. The food at the table. Rafayel clinging to her with his head on her shoulder.

Just Irie. Intentionally posing at the center of the frame, with differing backgrounds and surroundings or her completely unaware. Eating some food. With a concentrated look on her face while she doodles in the sand or builds a sand castle. Her surfing if she brought her board. Getting ready to go out. In the beach, laying down on the sand while she tans, looking completely relaxed. The beads around her waist, or some seashells on her back/thighs.

🕊️ Warm Breeze — What are some of your favorite things about each other?

This one question was so hard to answer because I kept hesitating with my answers. I kept thinking "at what point does it stop being Rafayel/Xavier and it starts being me being in love with my ocs? It really was a struggle.

Ilvier

For Ilkay: The way Xavier schemes to get closer. Ilkay did tell him that he didn't need the schemes, that he could just ask or take what he wanted– even took the initiative to be direct himself– but at the end of the day he doesn't stop Xavier from scheming because he also enjoys seeing how creative Xavier can get. There's also how Xavier will sometimes say innuendos without blinking twice about it. It took Ilkay a while to get used to it, but he's absolutely delighted whenever Xavier does that. It always makes him snort how Xavier can look so innocent while saying those things.

For Xavier: The many ways Ilkay smiles. The one with the bashful scrunch of his nose. The silly one where he looks like the ":]" keyboard face he likes typing so much. The gummy one that shapes his eyes into little crescent moons and makes him shine so brightly. That smug smirk he does on the rare instances he decides to brag about something he did. The lopsided grin whenever Xavier decides to dare/challenge him on some way... 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ But then also, Ilkay's quiet determination and confidence. Xavier likes how willing Ilkay is to challenge himself by trying new things and learning.

Irayel

The thing is, both of them knew each other as friends before everything evolved into more so neither of them would be able to answer with something specific (no, this is not a cop out answer, I sWeAr) They'd mention each other's perseverance and determination, their creativity and problem solving, etc. They have that attunement to each other.

.... Irie would say his laugh because it's so bright and happy. It always makes her laugh along.

(One thing about them is that whenever she laughs, Rafayel laughs, and whenever Rafayel laughs, Irie laughs. You know, the typical "can't hear the other laugh or they'll break and fall into a heap on the floor" type of shit friends go through because they find each other's laughs hilarious.)

And then Rafa... Her hair and all the things she does with it. He loves helping her style it and even does it by himself when she allows it.

Hello nonnie ^-^ thank you for the questions!

🍪: What is something that's sentimental to your OC?

Nevaeh:

Her old phones. There's like 6 or 8? About 4 or 5 of those are hand-me-downs from Grandma's phones. Grandma barely used her phones, so Nevaeh never really minded getting her old ones when she'd buy a new one since they were pretty much in pristine condition anyways.

The others are phones that Caleb bought her when the one she got from Grandma broke with no warning.

All of them are still on the covers, some of them have a bit of a cracked screen. There's like two or three that can still turn on and be used, but they're super slow and laggy.

Ilkay:

He has a shoe box of trinkets. Pictures of his family, a couple of beads and a moon charm from a broken bracelet, a ring not meant for him, some plastic dessert toys (a full apple pie and a red velvet cake slice), a broken portable radio, a lighter with his initials and doodles on it, and some paper notes with her mother's handwriting.

There's a keychain he carries with him, it has a moon, a north star, a sun and a little astronaut holding a star. That one is also sentimental.

🍫: Where does your OC go to think?

Nevaeh:

Anywhere, she's plagued by thoughts /jk.

She'll go to the park, find a spot hidden in the shade, and curl up there to people watch and think. If it gets particularly bad, there's a spot behind the trees that she can hide in and cry for a little.

Ilkay:

Balcony, mostly, he'll stare at the city while getting lost in his head. On the times that it's particularly rough, he'll drive all the way out to the stargazing spot he usually goes to and get lost in the stars instead.

Hi Em&ms! Since you already linked it for me I'll skip that format. Imma include the answers for both because... Well, I can and I want to.

🍹: Does your OC have any funny anecdotes told about them?

Nevaeh:

Caleb likes talking about the time they were playing outside during a neighborhood party and she kicked a ball that ended up hitting one of the adults. Everyone laughed about it, but Nevaeh always felt a bit apologetic about it.

He also likes talking about the first time she ever cursed at someone (actual curse, not just being like "dumb dumb" or "meanie." A classmate pissed her off enough that she just blurted out "Oh my god, you're such a fucking jerk!" and Caleb just gasped with her in both horror and delight. That story will always follow with "She used to refuse to curse at all, now she has such a potty mouth" to which she'll answer with "I wonder who's fault that is" while staring very intently at him.

Kaden:

Yes and no? Like, his fans talk about the times he played on game shows for promotions and ended up doing something funny. But he doesn't have enough close people to tell stories about anything hilarious he did while with them, you know what I mean? At least not until he meets the gang, but that's a long way coming.

🍩: What's a crime your OC is most likely to commit? What's a crime they're most likely to get arrested for?

Nevaeh:

Going over the speed limit, she likes going fast on her bike. I think assault/battery too if someone hurt her friends and she got angry enough.

Kaden:

*cough cough* oh boy... He'd be arrested for homicide, theft, fraud, identity theft...

🍉: Does your OC have a particular piece of jewellery that they always wear or refuse to part with?

Nevaeh:

Not really. Everything she's ever had she's ended up losing, so she's learnt not to get too attached to material things (or anyone, really). The one exception to this rule was Caleb's necklace when he died. She absolutely refused to take it off to shower or do anything else until she gave it back to him. And then she went back to not having anything she wouldn't take off.

Kaden:

A bracelet. It's got 7 colors and 6 charms; a llama surrounded by 4 pink beads, following 4 purple ones with a bunny, after that comes a teddy bear with 4 light blue beads (he'll correct you and say it's a koala but never change the charm to a koala), then 4 green with a tiger, 4 yellow with a baby chick, three red beads (his color) and finally a cat with 4 black beads.

One time it broke in the middle of a mission while he was fighting and he absolutely annihilated everyone in the room before looking for the beads like a madman. Yes, it's a matching bracelet.

I included a little illustration to show what the bracelet is supposed to look like. The longer grey lines are supposed to symbolize where the charms would be:

Nevaeh:

Settling under her kitchen table or on any small corner in her apartment, which there are multiple of. She gets in there with some blankets and stuffies and only comes out for food or to use the bathroom. Sometimes she reads, sometimes she plays on her phone, sometimes she just watches random shit.

Kaden:

Dancing, he'll freestyle for a couple hours or until he feels like himself again. Then he'll take a long shower and go about his day/night.

Eira are you good in the kitchen? Do you like to bake or cook or do you prefer to go out?

To be honest, I don't really like cooking. It's so hot and I get so sweaty every time. Then there's dishes to clean after– I prefer baking. Cupcakes, cakes, bread– Making bread is always so fun! Last time I made some strawberry bread. It was so good! Grandpa really liked it.

And going out... Well, if I really don't want to deal with dishes and the heat, yeah, I'll order takeout. But most of the time I just suck it up, you know? I like the way I cook.
