they should really let you bring a trusted friend to adhd assessments. We were reading the criteria for diagnosis last night and we got to ‘can’t stay seated when you’re expected to’ and I said

“I mean, this one doesn’t apply to me” to prove the point that you don’t have to tick every box to be diagnosed. But my friend burst out laughing and said uh, bro, yeah it does? Apparently I’m always randomly leaving to go “weirdly stand somewhere” and then returns and starting the conversation again. Unbeknownst to me. How many other behaviours am I not aware of?
