A sleep-deprived sorceress sits at her designated location in the library, her consciousness slowly drifting into the realm of Morpheus as her heavy head descends gradually into the text she’d previously been poring over only moments ago. Her eyes were on the verge of drearily closing for the final time before her mind’s subconscious took over when a rather boisterous voice suddenly flabbergasted her from behind, effectively yanking her from her descent into slumber.
After a less than graceful yelp on her part, the startled sorceress turns around to find none other than the amiable daughter of the very benevolent Belmont she’d oft conversed with and who had acted as a kind of a mentor to her in recent times.
“Annie! Why hello, hello! Fancy... uh, running into you in this establishment! I’m sure you’ve... uh, met OD, I’m assuming.” She casts a cursory glance in the direction of the stoic curator to ensure that her little exclamation of surprise had not alerted him, knowing full well that her demeanor in the recent past had nearly infringed upon his somewhat stringent policies. Gilded irises just so happened to be staring straight back at the both of them, unmoving and unblinking as they seemingly dared the two of them to make even the slightest bit of racket more.
“Best not to attract his attention too much, you see; he’s (understandably) rather insistent about keeping his place devoid of any and all disturbances, no matter how seemingly trivial or minor, haha.” A slight smile appears on her visage as she regards the younger woman, all while dark irises attempted to convey to Annie a slight sense of urgency by motioning towards a more distant location in the library. At least one that was at least at a greater distance from the curator, so that they may continue any ensuing conversation.
