Day Twenty-three Morrotober: Regret / Memories

When Morro put his second life behind him and embraced the cards destiny had dealt him, he didn’t expect to be stripped of his wind: the very thing that had started it all. The wind was a lively element; it was neither chained nor dormant for long. It was a natural occurrence and moved about with a purpose, spreading anything and everything in its way towards new heights.

Morro was none of these things. A lifeless spirit with no meaning couldn’t spread anything but hatred and loneliness wherever it went. Just as the role of the green ninja wasn’t fit for him, the title of the wind master no longer suited him either.

Perhaps this was for the best. You reap what you sow in the end.
