i have fallen so hard for your shameless genesis propaganda, i accidentally started writing a time travel fic starring him. will it have a plot? who knows. will it solve anything in the timeline? maybe. will it have genesis and cloud being petty bastards together? absolutely.
I mean, go for it! These characters and their personalities work so well together that you can use the oldest tropes/flimsiest plot devices/no plot to speak of and have a hell of a fun time anyway. Lol.
