The funniest thing about Warhamer is how much it has divorced itself from everything that inspired it. So now I'm over here watching/reading the things that inspired it and being like... what have I done??? Now I have to write something ELSE so I can do these cute ideas cause Warhamer is just ... a genre mystery really. Which is NOT what I originally wanted.

Happy STS! How do your characters fare in a survival setting? (lost in the woods/stuck on a deserted island/etc) Who is immediately suggesting cannibalism? Who's adamant that they’re all gonna make it? Who takes this as a chance to become a ‘wild person’ and wear mud facepaint and no clothes?

Happy STS! Yet again I feel boring! Why are so many of my characters survivalists!? Everyone in ToT is basically fine tuned for survival. They literally go through training and are monster hunters. They'd do better out in the wilds vs any of my other WIP characters. (The only exception here is Shay and its cause she's a teenager that's never gone camping. That kids getting eaten by a monster. Or eating something poisonous. She'd be weirdly optimistic during the whole time she's making all the wrong choices. Good thing other ToT people would probably be with her.) But Warhammer people! Oh Sandrine would be able to start a fire but wouldn't be able to hunt anything for a bit. She'd probably figure out traps eventually but then the whole business of skinning animals? Nah, she'd go the foraging path instead. Try to feed her bugs? She'll waste the last of her energy trying to fight you. (Also wouldn't suggest cannibalism cause someone's gotta get all that meat ready and it is not her). If she was with Malou, she'd do it as a joke. Malou is boring. She'd know how to start a fire and hunt and how to clean the water and all that fun stuff. Art is also boring. He used to camp a lot so has basic survival skills. Weirdly not as good at starting fires as Sandrine.

The Traitor crew would literally die without Hadiyah. Vira would just give up and lay on the dirt and let the plants over take her. (She does know how to start fires and will eat almost anything and yet in order to get into this situation it would mean her world hopping ability is down and so now she's just like "guess I'll die".) Meeri doesn't know how to survive in the wild. Hadiyah DOES. She would def win Naked and Afraid and drag her team with her.

Ok so last 7 lines I wrote for Warhammer are:

The skid mark disappeared under a brown metal box and didn’t appear until two trees over. As if dragged under and then finally back on path. The color more of a fresh red than it had been before. “But not every ghost is a piece of soul that needs to rest. Some of them are just stories,” she looked to Art, sure he’d interrupt her. His eyes were alert as he looked around them. He followed the bloody skid mark just as easily as her and hardly paid any attention to the trees around them or the wind bells that popped up every now and then.

🌌 Milky Way and ⭐️ Star for the ask game!

Thank you for the ask! From this game 🌌 Milky Way - What is the character development like for your characters? Do they change a lot or not much at all?

Hmmm this is a hard one. Usually I start my stories with emotionally damaged individuals.

Ezra is grieving and having trouble moving on.

Sandrine has decided removing herself from her whole life completely is the way to live without actually making herself a new life to move onto.

Vira is trying to do what is right but it will never feel like enough.

I don't fix any of these. Ezra gets the best deal out of all of this and it's not because he was emotionally fulfilled enough to heal. I think I would describe these MC's journeys as learning to live with themselves as they are. Maybe Sandrine decides how she wants to live her life instead of just going with the flow? (That's still up in the air).

⭐️ Star - Do you have a favourite character? If so, why are they your favourite?

Every WIP has a favorite and its who I refer to as the "heart" of the story. (Not to be confused with the 5man band heart) They are hardly ever the POV character except for Vira. But she's just fun so I can't not have her as a favorite. My favorite favorite is probably Fogy. Partly because she's the oldest heart (vs the WIP's that will never see the light of day). She's full of flaws. She's wishywashy about what she wants but is full of rage. Just a character who understands that anger makes you do things you'll regret and is unsure whether to fall into that or not. To give up the last vestiges of who you were for vengeance or to try and heal some other way. I really liked exploring that with her.

Comet and satellite for the space game!

Hi Mana! From this ask game. ☄️ Comet - Who is your most self destructive character? Why are they like that?

The real answer to this question is [Redacted]. So I'll have to go with my second most self destructive character which is Vira from Traitor. She is very casual about how badly she can get hurt while treasure hunting. She'll try to come back alive! But you don't know it while you watch her put herself into shock or some shit. Why is she like that? Well it's a whole plot actually so I probably shouldn't say but short answer short is guilt.

🛰 Satellite - Do you have a character who is very dependent on another character? Is it healthy or unhealthy? I feel like any of my yes answers are all cop outs. Like every ghost in Warhammer is highly dependent on how people remember them. I wouldn't say its healthy or unhealthy and just sort of the way of things. We'll never be able to remember someone in their singler wholeness and so the ghosts we remember will always just be shades.

These games always make me see my VERY LONG sentences. Here's 7 from GhostQueen project. Sandrine had drawn enough protective talismans on the walls but if the whole ship was in the reality then those talismans wouldn’t do shit.

“You’re calm,” Sandrine began as she turned around and paced towards Art, “mask so that the Spirit doesn’t just show up and murder us or reality hopping so that we aren’t too late when whatever ghost owns the reality realizes its got guests?”

She almost envied how still Art had become once he had something to think about. Even Deca stood next to him, its processing light indicating it was listening to every word as it waited for an order.

“And don’t say split up,” she interjected before Art could even think to say a word.

“Wouldn’t dream of it,” he sighed, “yeah that’s a hard choice.”

For a moment they stood in silence as they tried to think about which one had the least amount of bad sides.

OCs vs. Cockroach Tag Game

ToT Crew:

Aanor: Is the one that usually kills cockroaches for Lyle. Doesn't actually notice them otherwise. 100% would let an infestation just happen.

Ezra: Does not care about the bug but does care what it means. He is now judging whoever's house he is in. Sorry. He does kill it at least so it can't have little babies. (If this is his house, he has now ordered the staff to "take care of it")

Kerr: Wouldn't be phased but would make someone bet her money that she could eat it. She'd win that bet and no one would look at her the same. (Bet started with her adamant that it probably tastes fine once roasted)

Lyle: Scream then pretend he didn't. Just the most highest pitch scream you've ever heard. Gets others to kill it but if push comes to shove he will stomp on it.

Warhammer Crew:

Sandrine: She is quietly horrified. Leaves the room.

Art: Casually kills it. Informs the homeowner so that they can do something about that.

Malou: Same as Art. Has caught one before to scare Sandrine with but only once cause then Sandrine wouldn't let her touch her for like 3 days. (Gross you touched it!!!!)

Algabe: Loudly horrified. He will now tell everyone that your house has cockroaches. Not in a mean way of judging you but because he's just so flabbergasted that those creatures could even get so close.

Traitor Crew:

Vira: Yell and then climb the nearest bit of furniture. Continue to point at the last place she saw it without telling anyone WHAT she saw.

Meeri: She's on the computer when she sees it crawl across the wall. She continues to do whatever she was already doing. Telling no one about the house intruder.

Hadiyah: Calm. Would grab it and throw it out a window or something. Would be the one to catch the one scaring Vira after she figured out what exactly was happening.
