Reposted from @kentcoastghosts Pluckley Village, Kent... 👻 Pluckley is a traditional looking small village, near Ashford in Kent. It looks like any of the other quaint, picturesque villages in the UK, but Pluckley has held the record for being "the most haunted village in Britain". At least 12 different ghosts are reported to be seen floating around this little village... The most famous is 'The Red Lady' who is spotted roaming the churchyard at night, often accompanied by a small white dog. The White Lady is also said to haunt this church; she is allegedly buried in 7 coffins AND an oak sarcophagus, deep within its walls. No one is sure why she was buried this way. If you're really lucky, (or not...), you may encounter the ghostly horse and carriage which has been seen gliding around the village at various times of day and night.
