I didn’t expect to be waxing philosophical about SpongeBob universe’s theology of all things when I got back into this fandom recently, but I drafted this post late last night when I couldn’t sleep and now you guys have to see it, too.
Ahem. According to various episodes, the principles of animism (which is the belief that even inanimate objects have a soul) is true for the SpongeBob universe. The pictures in the photoset above are captioned with the episode they’re from, as well as the inanimate objects demonstrated to have a soul.
And finally, my strongest piece of evidence (from S07E133a “the Curse of Bikini Bottom”):
Here’s what I’m getting at. With the above logic in mind, Karen must have a soul.

Wake up babes!!!! New Peter Lorre-esque character just dropped!
Well, he isn't exactly new per pay, but on a rewatch of Ghoul Fools; I've noticed his voice was familiar,, too familiar.
And by the title you can already guess why 👀 which makes him the og Peter Lorre inspired character in Spongebob. He's a lot less in looks compared to Slappy but I just think it's neat. Oh! Also he has a name! Its Charlie :> apart of Lord Poltergeist's ghastly crew.
He ends up having two appearances. Ghoul Fools and séance shméance. But he's only heard speaking in a short clip from the his first appearence.
