The Beauty and the Beast AU.
Sigfried and his Golden Villa has been cursed by the Witch Hedivka for he dared to marry Julia AND be happy even after she deceased (with a little of Hedvika's help). No. Just. No. Salty Auntie Hedvika can't have the man she worked so hard to break (not all that successfully) be happy. She curses him into a Beast, Giselle into the time-ticking rose and Sao is 10000% Lumiere. Worried of what will happen to his daughter if he fails to find his next True Love in time, Sigfried ponders around his Villa, making a list of places where there are people who might be into big, hairy, fanged beasts.
Gi Suk and Daichi are on their way to the hospital due to the old man's ill heart when a storm breaks loose and they stumble across Golden Villa. Sigfried, not wanting to give the two a shock, lets his furniture staff treat the guests secretly… but whoopsie, when Sigfried wants to take care of their horses, they get scared and run away.
Seeing his father's and brother's horses, scared to death, Kyun swishes himself up the saddle and rushes to the rescue!
There was it… Daiki's hat lying in the snow, frozen footprints on the stairs leading to the villa's door. It didn't screech when he pushed them open. "H-hello? Father? Daiki?!" he called, but the only response he got was an echo of his own words. "Father? Daiki?" Cautiously, he entered the hall and closed the door behind him so that the cold wind didn't get in.
The interier was… breathtaking. Gold paintings on the walls and the ceiling, fine carved furniture made out of dark wood. Thick warm carpets. Paintings hanging on the walls, portraying a beautiful young couple and a child over and over again in every scene imaginable, playing, dancing, reading books. The young mother's picture in black frame and two dates, marking the lenght of her short life.
"Father?! Daiki!" Kyun was running along long corridors, opening door by door, searching for his family, or somebody who lived in this place with a hint of sadness in the air. Where was the handsome blond male from the photographs? Where was the little girl with radiant smile?
"The old man and his son are in the first bedroom on the left from the staircase." Kyun nearly jumped up from shock when a deep, thunder-like voice surprised him from behind him. He turned around on his heel. He could see nothing but an empty corridor… and a shadow in the darkness behind one of the doors. "Excuse me?" he gulped. "W-who is it?" "I am the owner of this place. If you are looking for the two men who came looking for a shelter from the storm yesterday, they are in the first bedroom on the left of the staircase. This way," the voice added and a huge hand dressed in white glove pointed in the direction Kyun came from. "Uhm… thank you?" Kyun said, fidgeting with his sleeve. This was odd. Why didn't the owner show himself? "Um… why… why are you hiding, sir? If you don't mind me asking." "I wouldn't like to scare you, cutie." Kyun blushed, partly out of embarrassment, party out of anger, and partly because it's not every day that somebody thinks you're cute. "Why should I be scared of you?" he asked, closing the door since his father wasn't in that room. "True," the man said and stepped out in the light. "Why should you?"
Kyun's breath froze in his lungs and his nails scratched the door handle in a pitiful attempt to run away and hide. Locks as golden as the decorations on the walls fell off the host's head on his shoulders, more spurs of gold covered his neck, chest, even face… a face of an animal. For several long moments Kyun could see nothing but white fangs sticking out between the male's lips. "Why should you be afraid of a Beast…" the Beast made a step closer and stroke the terrified man's cheek softly with his glowed hand, making him shiver, "I wonder." His words made Kyun look up from the malicious fangs and his gaze met with eyes so blue as icebergs. He could get lost in those kind, troubled eyes, eyes he has seen filled with joy and love… He gasped for the air at sudden realisation. "You… you are the man from the paintings!" The man blinked in surprise and stepped back. "You can tell?" "Well… yes," Kyun said, still shook. "Your eyes, they are the same as in the pictures." The man chuckled. "I see." Then he grabbed Kyun's hand gently. "Please, let me introduce myself properly. I'm Sigfried Riverwalker, the Merchant of the Golden Villa." He gave a bow and pressed his lips on the back of Kyun's hand in a courtesy kiss, his fangs making the act a little worrying. Not used to such treatment Kyun stammered, "I'm Kyun, Kyun Song. N-nice to meet you mister Riverwalker." "Please, call me Sigfried."
