Lonely: Minki and Yoongi

Making friends in person is hard. Take it from Yoongi, who hadn't had a friend ever. In his entire life. Sure he'd met people, who came and went, but he had always been...somewhat alone. When he was younger, his mother insisted on homeschooling him, since his elder brother and teacher father were taken in an unfortunate accident. He never knew any better, so he did whatever his mother told him to. He was eager to learn, and he was very smart. He just...never had a friend.

In his teenage years loneliness ate ate him, and he tried his hardest to get out of the house. Once he found a way to sneak out, but he was met with a harsh grounding of 4 months, and told that he could never leave like that again...

When he was nineteen years old, he had already been working for 3 years for a company as an online tech consultant. And he had saved up enough to rent an apartment, and move out.

Living by himself however, did not solve his loneliness.

Yoongi never was one for social media, but on a whim he opened up his computer, and joined the first website that would pop up. Tumblr.

It seemed innocent enough, he could follow people's blogs without talking and aimlessly look at things that interested him. It wasn't until one evening that he received a message in his inbox.

Anonymous says: Hey, I've been following you for a while, I really like your blog!

To which he replied, "Thank you, I don't think it's that interesting...but still, it's nice that you think so."

This was the first time he had ever spoken with someone online.

This was his first...friend.
