We said goodbye to my cat, Giamatti this morning. He was the best. 💖💖

And now I come home to a lovely card from the vet saying that Giamatti's ashes have been placed in the pet memorial park and I'm crying again.

I didn’t think it hit me so hard but I keep thinking he’s gonna be somewhere and he isn’t. :(( doesn’t help that we had to get a stuffed animal that looks like him bc my son was so disrought- so now he’s LITERALLY in places he shouldn’t be. lol. ugh. i miss my baby cat.

It's never "just" a cat xx I cried buckets when ours went, I was 12 when the first one died and 16 when the second died.

I always had cats. I’ve lost them growing up, but Giamatti and Penny- we got them when we first moved in together. They’re older than my kids. He was my favorite cat. :( 

And patrick is such a mess over it I feel even worse because, truly, it was my decision. Like, I know there was nothing we could do, but I signed the papers. UGHHHH I WANT MY CAT!!
