Could I trouble you for some giant!ragatha headcannons?
Yess ofc! Giant Ragatha my beloved ❤️
I've never actually written headcannons before so there's a very high chance these may be buns, but there's only one way to get better at it ig
Giant!Ragatha Headcannons
I enjoy your posts so frequently, and your art is the prettiest, so have this, my first attempt at a tadc g/t fic, (Ragatha x child!member(platonic)), I hope you like it:
Ragatha eyes fluttered open at the sound of shuffling. She sat up on the bed and looked around.
She almost fell back on her bed when she didn’t see anyone, until she heard little sniffles.
Ragatha almost laughed at herself, how could she forget?
She turned the lamp on her bedside table on, the room was illuminated by the warm orange light, and so was the child, the latest member of the circus, who shifted uncomfortably on the nightstand.
“Hi sweetie,” she said as softly as she could, “what are you doing here?”
The child held their head down, they tried to get words out, Ragatha patiently sat up on the bed and waited for them.
“I can’t sleep…”
Ragatha nodded understandingly.
“I get that,” she said “it was impossible for me to sleep when I first joined.”
The kid lifted their head up and looked at her. Ragatha almost imploded. Sure, the child did look very afraid, but eye contact was progress. They could barely speak to her just a few days ago, and now, they were on her bedside table.
“Did you have a bad dream?”
They nodded.
“Do you want to tell someone about it?”
They shook their head.
“That’s okay,” Ragatha said. She laid her pillow flat on the bed, “I can take you back to your room if you want, or you can sleep here.”
The child looked between Ragatha and the bed. They were clearly struggling to talk.
“It must’ve taken lots of effort say something in the first place,” Ragatha mentioned, she was careful to ensure she wasn’t talking too loudly, “you’re doing great.”
She held her hand out in front of them, her palm open for the child to step right on in any moment. Ragatha regretted offering when their trembling seemed to increase, she quickly withdrew her hand.
“I’m sorry,” she quickly said, feeling like an idiot, despite it, she kept the warm smile on her face,
“I guess it’s too soon.”In her worry, she almost missed it, but she could’ve sworn she saw the kid eye the little horse plush she kept on the side of the bed.
“Do you want it?”
The child sheepishly looked away, pathetically trying to act like they were looking at something else. Ragatha took the plush and put it on the bedside table, right next to the kid. Startling them. Ragatha noticed they weren’t shaking anymore, which cheered her up on the spot, more progress!
“Hold on to it if it makes you feel better, I don’t mind,” she said, pulling her blanket over her legs, “goodnight.”
Ragatha turned to the wall when she laid down, she hoped it would be more reassuring for them if she wasn’t looking. Before drifting off to sleep, Ragatha caught one last thing:
“Goodnight.”
I'm going to cry you monster that was SO CUTE AND SWEET!!!!!!!
Absolute peak, I love how Ragatha doesn't pick them up that's very Ragatha 😺
This is really good, feel free to send me more if you'd like!
Run, Rabbit
here it is, the first fanfic I’ve ever written of tadc. I did this pretty quick so sorry if it’s not the best. I just love angst (and if you couldn’t tell, also Jax)
Tw ~ fear, panic, mentions of being prey, unintentional fearplay, grabbing, angst
word count ~ 1.5k
Please take yet another tadc Ragatha x tinychild!character fic as tribute, fair warning, there is quite a bit of overthinking from Ragatha here, as she usually does:
They were supposed to be playing capture the flag with the others, but Ragatha and Kinger had escaped to some small forest in the map. Caine must have built it for Kinger to find, as it was full of all kinds of insects. With Kinger distracted, Ragatha was left alone with the child in her hands.
They were asleep, she noticed, she didn’t know how long they were asleep for, it filled Ragatha with an aggressive awe, they were just so damn cute, she almost didn’t want to wake them up, but she had the very rare chance to be alone with them, why wouldn’t she take it?
She lightly shook their shoulder with her fingertip. Ragatha was very much aware that her hands felt like a pile of soft blankets, so she shook the child a little harder until their eyes opened and they hazily sat up.
“Hey, you were out for a while,” Ragatha said, the kid seemed to remember that they were being carried again, the peace they felt before getting drained, Ragatha tried her best to keep speaking softly, even if she was a bit loud, “our team ended up here after we left the others.”
The child stumbled a bit as they tried to move, holding on to ragatha’s cupped fingers for stability, there were bright flowers and thick tall trees all around them, but not their other teammate.
“Where’s Kinger?”
Ragatha felt some strange sense of unease, like that sentence had caused her heart to drop to her ass in some other time, she ignored it.“
He went to go see all the different bugs Caine programmed into the forest,” she said, “Kinger really likes bugs.”
“He thinks I’m a bug,” the kid whined what Ragatha thought was the cutest whine she had ever heard.
“It isn’t his fault he isn’t exactly….aware,” Ragatha didn’t want to have to explain the concept of insanity to the little one, and she really didn’t want to go into how Kinger went insane in the first place, she could only hope the vague wording would be enough, “it doesn’t matter anyway, you know you’re not a bug, you’re a human just like us.”
“No- I mean…”
Ragatha raised an eyebrow, something she remembered she couldn’t do before the circus.
“‘No ’ what? No you’re not a human?” Ragatha was being silly, but to her surprise, they actually looked away and froze, like they were guilty of something.
“Oh dear,” she said in the same tone an adult would use whenever they caught their kid doing something they weren’t supposed to do, but not something bad, something more like eating straight sugar from the sugar jar or having dessert before dinner, she hoped it would be somewhat reassuring, “I think we have to sit down.”
There was a patch of grass under a tree, free of any bushes or wildflowers, Ragatha was careful to avoid sitting too fast, the trees weren’t rough like real life trees, rather they were smooth, like plastic, so were the leaves and grass, but Caine tried, and that was what mattered.
Ragatha bent her legs and rested her still cupped hands on them, the child, now with their eyes completely shut, and their body shaking in her hands, Ragatha considered going to Caine to ask him to give the kid the ability to cry, crying is very healthy for children, but that wasn’t important right now.
“It’s fine if you aren’t a human,” Ragatha said, as sincerely as she could, “caine’s not a human too, he’s an AI, and we like him all the same.”
The shaking didn’t let up, but they managed to get their eyes open, just a little bit, Ragatha smiled encouragingly.
“I’m not supposed to tell anyone…”
“That’s okay, I won’t tell anyone,” she said, it didn’t do a thing to reassure the kid, so she tried a different approach, “can I guess?”
It didn’t look like they could move at all with how much they had curled into themselves, but their head moved up and down a little, which counted as a nod.
“Great,” Ragatha began thinking, no one knows how the cartoon avatars are designed, they all just thought it was bad luck when the child appeared a few inches tall in the circus, Jax certainly thought it was funny, but maybe it wasn’t bad luck, “were you this small before you ended up here?”
The kid nodded, uncurling into themselves just a little. Ragatha could’ve squealed at the progress she was making, it wouldn’t have been a good time though. She didn’t know what other intelligent creature could put on a headset, maybe mice? Maybe caine put some sort of built in translator in the circus? So that no matter what language anyone was speaking they would be able to understand each other, it sounded likely.
“Could you give me a hint?”
The kid warily sat up, looking down.
“W-We…hide in h-human houses,” they stammered, “a-and we take things they w-won’t miss…”
Ragatha eyes lit up, the answer seemed obvious from there.
“Ah! You’re a mouse then!”
Whatever fear the kid had seemed to disappear for a moment as they looked up and tilted their head.
“What?”
“I mean, that sounds like mice,” Ragatha said, “do you know any other creature that lives in human houses and takes things they don’t miss?”
And are adorable, she almost said. In all honesty, the mental image of a little mouse going inside a random headset looked very cute on its own.
“No… you’re right,” the child mumbled, “I am…”
Ragatha allowed herself to let out a single squeal from the place where she held all her suppressed squeals hostage.
“I love mice, they’re the cutest,” she gushed, “I’ve almost gott-“
Ragatha stopped, did she really want to bring up mouse infestations? Then she would have to bring up exterminators, and that wasn’t a conversation she wanted to have.
“I’ve almost seen a few,” she decided to say, “in…”
What was she supposed to say? The pet store? Did the kid know that mice are sometimes kept as pets? If they didn’t, would it be alright to tell them? Would knowing that mice can be kept as pets negatively affect their sense of self worth as they develop?
They are still very young, Ragatha was always aware, she didn’t want to tell the child anything they weren’t ready to hear. Her mind wandered off in thought about the little creatures, she had always loved animals, horses the most, but for smaller invasive animals that scuttle inside walls, she had always preferred humane traps.
If she did somehow escape the circus(unlikely but one imagine) and she did have the cutie she was holding in her house, she wouldn’t even think of trapping them. She could put her sewing skills to use for little pillows, then put those little pillows in a bowl or a teacup for them to sleep in. Or she could let them on her bed, especially if she was out working.
Though she would have to put the bourbon in a locked cupboard, the other cupboards would be open, with little snacks they could take from, oh but they can’t get up on their own. Maybe she could make a small ladder out of popsicle sticks or-?
“Ragatha?”
Oh, right.
“Yeah?” Ragatha mentally scolded her imagination for getting ahead of itself, “I’m sorry, I got distracted for a bit.”
She gave the child a little affectionate pat on the head with her fingertip, she had been waiting for the chance to do that, they giggled.
“I don’t think there’s any reason to tell anyone about this anyway,” Ragatha said, “now come on, let’s go check on Kinger.”
She carefully stood, holding the kid in one hand, and using the other one to support herself. When she was fully stood, the child tried to lay down in her hands again, Ragatha swiftly pulled them back into a sitting position.
“Nope, if you sleep now, then you’re gonna struggle to sleep tonight,” she said, a messed a sleep schedule was a privilege only adults get to have, “you can be the lookout instead.”
The child nodded proudly, like they had just been asked to be a knight, Ragatha reminded herself to ask Caine about making more child friendly adventures later as she took them to go find Kinger.

Yay I finally formatted this (it was a pain) 😁
And in case it wasn’t obvious, the bastard borrower child was lying to Ragatha, which is a very bad thing to do
Anyway take care of yourself, much love🩷
Thank you for the tribute, anon!
I see the kid is becoming more comfortable, so real for that, Ragatha is a peak gentle giant I too would fall asleep in her hands. I’m so so so happy that you liked that first g/t fic I sent, it was my first time ever doing that, i hope you like this one too:
Caine had gathered the members to the stage, like he always did before announcing his newest adventure, no one knew what to do with the latest member, who wouldn’t have been fond of being carried, Caine kindly conjured a table for the small child to be placed on.
“Today you’re playing capture the flag!” Caine said in his loud loud voice. It made the child jump every time they heard it “you’re gonna need to team up for this one!”
Caine left the portal open before disappearing.
Teaming up was usually easy, gangle went with zooble and Ragatha went with Kinger, all that was left were Pomni and Jax, and the child on the table.
“Oh?” Jax said deviously.
“Absolutely not,” zooble quickly intervened, “you guys aren’t seriously thinking of leaving them with Jax are you?”
They all shook their heads, usually when the kid was with the others, they stayed quiet and looked down and let them talk about them like they weren’t in the room, but now, they had a very difficult time understanding.
“Why can’t I team up with Jax?”
It was the first time the kid had spoken in front of everybody, they immediately regretted it and looked down again, feeling everyone’s eyes boring into them.
“honestly?” Zooble answered normally, “it would be safer to leave you with the gloink queen.”
“Jeez, zooble, I’m not a monster.”
“Shut your as-…other word up.”
“Please don’t argue, you 2,” Ragatha said “how about we just let them decide?”
The child froze, they were being asked to speak again, even worse, they had to choose who to go with, when they all looked equally scary.
“Just a little heads up, you are gonna have to be carried,” Ragatha spoke softly, “but don’t worry, it’s only for the adventure, and we won’t hurt you.”
The group eyed Jax after Ragatha said that, he groaned.
“I wasn’t planning to anyway,” he grumbled, “but sure, I promise to not hurt the stupid kid.”
The stupid kid took offense to that, so much offense in fact that it gave them the very temporary courage to stick their tongue out at him for half a second before they thought better of it. Fear flooded them again, but the adults seemed to find it pretty funny.
“Yes, give that sh- stuff to him, kid,” zooble said encouragingly, “he deserves it.”
Jax crossed his arms together and huffed, looking more childish than anyone else in the room. The kid remembered the earlier question they were supposed to answer.
“Ragatha.”
“What?”
The kid had thought about it for a little bit, they weren’t sure, but out of everyone here, Ragatha was the least scary.
“I wanna team up with Ragatha.”
Ragatha seemed to beam brighter than World Cup stadium lights, the child liked it when the adults around them got happy, it usually meant they were doing something right.
The others started going through the portal, Ragatha and Kinger stayed, Kinger was dissociating, and Ragatha was next to the table. She tried offering her hands up in front of them.
“Can I?”
The child nodded quickly before they could change their mind. Their eyes snapped shut as they were picked up, but it wasn’t nearly as scary as they thought it would be, laying on her palms was more like laying on a giant fluffy bed that was floating in the air, they could almost forget that there was an actual human holding them. the kid felt silly for wanting to trick themself into thinking they were on a giant bed, but as long as they kept their eyes shut, they could.
PEAAAAKKK
The Jax antics got a chuckle out of me also world cup referennnceeeeeeee
But seriously this is adorable, Ragatha's hands would be so comfortable I would fall asleep in them frfr!
Love your Giant!Ragatha concept, and I lowkey wonder what her first experience in the circus was like if she arrived…
I imagine she would've tried to make a distance between her and everyone else because she was scared she'd hurt them 😺 i imagine her as a very cautious giant
