Given all the screaming, Brand assumes that new recruits must have arrived at the Wall again. Going down the steps into the yard, the 13 year old could definitely pick up unfamiliar scent and voices. He was going along his way when he ran into something hard and he fell.

Ash ran her finger through her hair, as she tried to get the hang of her new bow. That was until the servant came running up, and grabbed her sleeve.
“ Lady Grant!” The woman said, as a horn began to sound. “ The Starks are coming to visit, we must have you presentable.”
“ The Starks?” She asked, frowning before looking down at herself. it was a good thing that using a bow didn’t require as much movement as sword skill. The servant began to pull her towards the courtyard, where the House family stood waiting for their Lord’s arrival. The servant bustled her to stand beside Talia, before shrinking back.
She stood quietly as the horses road up, and took in the sight of each man’s face. until Ash gasped. it couldn’t be. He was in Skyrim with their children, so far out of her reach. and yet he rode in front of her, smiling as he dismounted the horse. “ Iveor.” She said in a barely audible voice, and beginning to take a step forwards.
"Will you be my boyfriend." [[ this was so awkward to say for real ]]
❝ You’re, uh, bein' serious? ❞
Gared is hesitant in his speech, not sure whether Finnwould actually come out and say such a thing whilst being fully serious. It seems strange, really, becausethe boy has never once believed that the man held anygenuine interest in anything even remotely related toa relationship. Still, it's clear that there's a smalltwinge of hope in his voice, despite it being almostdrown out; he's prepared to laugh it off as a joke inany moment from then.
“Is that all your mouth is good for?”

Ashlyn twirled and danced in front of the dummy. She was in her training attire, and used two short wooden daggers, the hollow smack of wood against wood. sweat poured from her brow, however she didn’t stop. Her anger boiled and with each strike she allowed the frustration out in a healthier way.
Finally Ashlyn struck it for a final time, snapping the training dagger in half. Ash growled, throwing the remaining half to the floor. She wandered back to where the wash basin sat, and splashed her face ignoring the sound of the door opening.
