“I will try not to keep you too long” could be sooo many things; is it Hickey killing Gibson as gently and efficiently as he can to spare him as much pain as possible? Is it about consuming his meat, and in a way, his soul, and if so, does he want to once again spare him as much harm as possible from staying tethered to this plane, or does he want to keep Gibson with him (inside of him) as long as he can? Does he mean to accelerate his plan to ascend before Gibson’s meat leaves his body? Or even that he intends to ascend which would reunite them somehow? Many questions, they all make me wanna bawl my eyes out on the floor 😭
