In the game, Doomfist, whose real name is Akande Ogundimu, is a mercenary of Nigerian descent who trained in traditional African martial arts, including Dambe and Gidigbo. He lost his arm during a battle and now uses a cybernetic prosthetic, which gives him enhanced abilities.
