A frown settled on her face, she likes Gideon, she really does, might even… she refused to let that thought go any further, but what she doesn’t like is being told she’s too sick to work, and being hurried back to bed. As soon as she could, Jemma sat up and swung her legs back over the edge of the bed defiantly, moving to get out of the bed he’d just forced her into.
“I’m okay, Gideon. Really, just need a few painkillers is all, maybe a cup of ginger tea, and I’ll be right as rain.” She nodded her head, trying to reassure him as she fought the nauseous sensation that accompanied the movement, closing her eyes for a few seconds. “I don’t need to stay in bed.” She grumbled. She was aware that she wasn’t well, and that she should stay put but honestly Jemma’s just a terrible patient, so she made a point of not staying put.

how they comfort each other when one of them is upset: Jemma will hug him, remind him that she’s crazy for him, and basically not let go till it’s all better, there’s also offers of tea and forehead kisses involved. Gideon makes/gets Jemma tea, because that’s her go to drink when she’s upset, and it makes her feel better just knowing he’ll get it for her. If someone’s upset her, then he’d comfort her after having dealt with said person.
who asked first: I don’t think they know. It was one of those things, where they carried on seeing each other, and just kind of fell into a relationship. If anyone asks, Jemma tells them Gideon did.
who says ‘i love you’ more: Probably Jemma, although Gideon says it his fair share of times, but Jemma just kind of drops it into random conversations, or if she’s made him mad or done something she shouldn’t have, she’ll just sheepishly tell him that she loves him, and hope it distracts him (and if that doesn’t work she’s always got plan b ie just kiss him till he forgives her).
kisses more: Both of them.
hugs more: Jemma, she can be incredibly tactile, and she likes hugging Gideon. She’s like this little koala when she’s allowed to be.
drinks more: Jemma, though neither of them drink very much, but Jemma will have a glass of wine over dinner occasionally. (excluding the very rare night when Jemma binges, but that’s not happened since they met)
who’s more outgoing: Mostly Jemma, though there are times when all she wants to do is stay in bed and hide away from the world with him.
who eats more: Jemma.
who’s more needy: Jemma. Or at least, she’s not as good at hiding it.
who’s more kinky: Neither of them? or maybe Jemma,

DUDE I WAS WATHING THAT MOVIE LAST NIGHT AND TOTALLY WAS LIKE “this song is rather gideon and jemma like…”
Such a good movie, right?! It totally makes sense for them! but then it makes me sad because Satine dies before Christian and I thought welll... Jemma would die before Gideon, (not of consumption/TB but still) but it's still a cute song, and I had to put it down. It was either that or Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, and I thought that might be a little too cheesy.

Who cooks: Gideon - Jemma tries, but she can’t cook, there have been some rather horrendous attempts, which led to her being banned from even attempting to cook for a while. She has however mastered cooking breakfast - so long as she doesn’t get distracted and burn the pans.Who does the laundry and other chores: Jemma does the laundry, and washes the dishes, they share most of the other chores. But they’re both pretty tidy so there’s never really much tidying to do.How many children do they have: 3, two girls and one boy (one of the girls is of course named Claire), and Gideon is incredibly protective of all of them. Jemma too, but she’s certainly the more relaxed parent, only because she knows that Gideon would keep them safe like he’s kept her safe.Who’s more dominate: Gideon. Definitely Gideon. Favorite nonsexual activity: Cuddling & lazy mornings in bed. Also, movie nights.Their favorite place to be together: Any place quiet, but mostly his place, since Jemma currently resides in The Playground (when she’s not on the bus) and that’s crawling with people.Any traditions: Does Gideon saving Jemma count?Their “song”: Come What May from Moulin Rouge. Although right now I think it's more like: Please Don’t Say You Love Me by Gabriella Aplin.What they do for each other on holidays: They don’t really get holidays, but when they do get free time, they like to treat each other. Jemma tries to surprise him, but she’s still a pretty awful liar, so he tends to find out before the surprise. Gideon’s a lot better at arranging surprises. On anniversaries and Jemma’s birthday, Gideon will take her to a nice restaurant, and they’ll make a day of it, going to museums and other ‘touristy’ sights. Where did they go for their honeymoon: Rome for a few days, then England for a few days. It’s pretty much the only ‘vacation’ they’ve been on. But they don’t mind. Where did they first meet: Jemma can’t entirely remember, but Gideon tells her it was outside a bar - it was one of the rare times when Jemma drunk her weight in alcohol. Jemma’s still mortified that he had to carry her into the hotel. Any pets: A dog, because Jemma really wanted one. It’s a golden retriever, and they’ve had it since it was a little puppy that was abandoned by the side of the road, so they adopted it. Jemma named him Hugo (totally after one of the Gargoyles in Hunchback of Notre Dame)What do they fight over: The Order & Gideon keeping it all a secret from her. They fight over Jemma going into the field, only because it’s dangerous, and she tends to forget that she never actually passed her field assessments. Then they have the usual ‘couple’ fights.Do they go on vacations, if so where: Not really. If they can, they’ll slip away to a cute B&B in the country for a long weekend at the most, and Gideon will drive them to a hotel every now and again when they need to get away for a night.
