Begaye Has Vision, Switches to Geico to Save Tribal Money

WINDOW ROCK- The Navajo Nation President Begaye saved the Navajo Nation 15% on its insurance for all tribal vehicles. He told the press that he had an epiphany in which a gecko spoke to him. He said he experienced a vivid day dream while working in his office.

He spoke to Tlo’chi’iin about his vision.

“I was worried about the situation with my daughter and I could not think clearly” he said reflecting. “I was getting hot and I was sweating, the next thing you know, a gecko climbs onto my desk”. “It was the cutest thing I ever saw and then it started talking to me, in an English accent, about car insurance”. “Finally, I gave in and told my administration that I need Geico”.

“In my quick decision-making moment, I accidently swung my arms and hit the gecko and killed it”.

Tlo’chi’iin reporter was invited in the office to look at the gecko but they could not find the lizard. We spoke to Begaye’s aide about the President’s decision.

“He was worried about Karis and what it meant for his future political career” the aide said. “He did not eat or sleep for two days”. “The Vice President offered to run with him to clear out his mind but Begaye just closed the door”.

“I heard him yell out in triumph and he came out to tell me to switch to Geico”.

No one has seen the gecko that the President saw.

His critics were quick to point out that this was just a political maneuver to save face. He was switching to downplay the drunk driving accident with his daughter. They were seen looking into his office trying to find evidence of the talking gecko.

“It is a red flag when your President is killing the only evidence to his story”. “We cannot let him do such things or the balance of the Navajo Nation will shift towards him”. “Next time a non-human relative talks to him about policy decisions, I want it recorded” said Lorenzo Bates.

Had a dream I had to write a myth and read it in front of a class. (possibly Kyle's, @redxluna?) I remember reading this story about an ancient man who stole a magic jewel which was embedded in a cave wall, and became corrupted by it's power. It was a cool story, actually. But then at the end I yelled "leading humanity into an era of dark magic: so easy a cave man can do it!" and the professor facepalmed. Wut.

While we are on the topic of “mascots” I saw a Kangaroo 🦘 with the head of a dinosaur — the Triceratop — and it was charging…. quickly. Also, it was very angry 😤 I should add, the Kangaroo can represent Australians 🇦🇺We were shown SYDNEY recently.
