I’m self-aware enough to wonder if the reason why I like Rami Malek and Sebastian Stan (esp in b&w dirty or military uniforms) so much is because they look like they: dressed themselves in the dark, are running on coffee and fumes, need about 10 nights of sleep

At 22-24, many of my friends are now finished with or almost finished with their formal medical schooling. This is how I imagine a cocky, newly graduated baby doctor Leonard McCoy would look like, making rounds at his residency, trying to figure out what specialties to head to, what fellowships to accept. Maybe he's one of those crazy genius med students who learn by just turning up at lecture and can party every weekend. Maybe he was a gunner, seriously studious until something changed and he adopted a devil may care attitude. Maybe he got married his first year of medical school or maybe his fourth. Maybe he went off-planet between his first and second year to accept a prestigious internship somewhere. Ugh, I have too many feelings for a fresh-faced, baby doctor McCoy!!!
