@mi6-cafe is having its gift week, which goes a little something like this:

Make something—anything! it could be a drabble or a sketch or a rec or a thank-you note—for someone in the fandom who has made a positive impact on you. This could be a fanworks writer/artist/creator, a beta, a cheerleader, a writing partner, a commenter, or anyone else who has made you smile or helped you out!

i immediately knew that i had to put together a little thank you note to mark my first five months enjoying what the bond/00q fandoms have to offer! i’m really new, and lots of people helped me ease into this place, so i dedicate this post to the following fans (and this is in no particular order):

@skylocked who was gracious and hospitable and friendly, and who explained lots of james bond film history to me, especially when i would ask things like “who the heck is alec and why is he in all the 00q fics?!”

@ladyprydian (why can’t i tag you?) who introduced me to some great music from the bond films and is well-versed on the fleming books

@roosterbox and @earlgreytea68 who are fans of ~ye olde bond films~ and know a lot of cool trivia

@cassellate and @sunaddicted who really know their craig!bond stuff and always make me laugh with their headcanons and drabbles

@fy00q who makes the coolest graphics and who has become a friend i can talk to about anything at any time of the day

@boredpsychopath-jc and @monologues91 who have been so incredibly nice and supportive and encouraging and i only recently realized that they’re already friends, which makes so much sense <3 (if you’re looking for london tour guides, they’ll take good care of you)

@timetospy who gave me the opportunity to watch the pre-skyfall craig!bond films, and made me feel at home among the veterans in the room

@castillon02 who is equally as enthusiastic as me about planning a 007fest/inceptiversary crossover event in july

@gwylliondream who is so sweet and even embraced the inception fandom and made herself and her cats right at home here

@therealpigfarts23 who shares my love of the craig!bond film scores
