I initially made this meme of Jimmy Fallon interviewing the one and only Tito Dick for posting to DeviantArt on Battle of the Bay's 14th anniversary (which is in 2 weeks), but after someone from r/favoritecharacter made a post encouraging other users to send similar memes featuring their own favorite characters and I posted this there, I decided to drop it here too.

Especially since today's also a Nutshack episode's anniversary, specifically Wrath of Ning Ping part 1.

SiIvaGunner

It's the aesthetic statue that started it all: The in-universe creator of the YouTube channel under the same name, and the primary channel host for Season 1 and (through his subconscious) Season 7, SiIvaGunner!

Initially going under the name GiIvaSunner, he was carved from a meteorite containing mysterious "Core" energy, bought by an equally mysterious collector in the Netherlands. The statue came to life and promptly killed its creator for reasons yet unknown, then hijacked his computer to start the GiIvaSunner YouTube channel in January of 2016. Three months later, after an attempted murder plot by the nefarious Angry Joe, the statue was left lifeless at the bottom of the sea until it was recovered by Chad Warden, upon which it regained sentience under the new name of SiIvaGunner. Chad Warden continued to aid SiIvaGunner in his ripping endeavors over the following months, and after much turmoil, at the end of Season 1, SiIvaGunner finally released his self-described magnum opus and went to rest for the first time in his life.

Little is known about who - or what - SiIvaGunner himself truly is. Online, he maintains a kayfabe of formality in all his comments, descriptions and tweets, almost as if he's unaware of the comedic nature of the channel he runs. Nevertheless, it is implied that the channel's jokes all stem from his own mind: SiIvaGunner, in that sense, embodies the creativity and joy of every single real-world contributor to the channel, like a vessel for their works to be transmitted into the channel in the form of truly high quality rips. That love for quality, that love for true artistic freedom not bound by the shackles of expectation, are perhaps the only things we know for sure about him - values closely shared by his savior and dear friend, Chad Warden.

Being into Siivagunner in the late 2010s gave me such random musical knowledge. I cannot tell you a single thing that happens in Love Live but I play all of Snow Halation in my head note for note.

As much as I really don't bring up anything Silvagunner that much with my work, I'm very happy to announce that I joined in for The 2024 Silvagunner Art Gallery video. Having my art be on a big art gallery collab by a popular music Youtube channel wasn't something that I expected to be involved with this year, but I had alot of fun with pitching in my submission for the event.

Many thanks to the Silvagunner team for having me in this whole thing. I loved making every bit of this and having my name out there. And for anyone wanting to see the other high-quality submissions in the Gallery, check out the official video here!
