Come cheer on and drink with your favorite team, the Gil Turtles, immediately before the first big game of the season! You can also arm wrestle the Crushers, what fun!
Where: The fabulous -C-asa! Balmung, Goblet, Ward 18, Plot 5! When: March 27th from 6pm to 8pm EST; right before the big game! Who: Fans of Blitzball, potential rich sponsors, and anyone a fan of fine living! Why: This is a dumb question, don’t ask it! What: A party before a game, where we all get trashed and have fun!
So get dressed in your favorite gilded fashion or your best rainbow statement, and come on down to the party zone! And bring a checkbook, to donate to the orphans!
The Ul’dah Gil Turtles and Turtle Shell Corporation recognize that there have been other games during this season of Blitzball, but they make the legal assertion that these have not been classified as “big games” due to not involving the Ul’dah Gil Turtles as stipulated in HBA regulations section A, subsection II, paragraph D, sentence 65. We reserve the right to continue to refer to this match as the first “big game” of the season, and will continue to exercise this right as we see fit. Those who have managed to read this entire statement shall be hearing from our lawyers.

Took part in the Blitzball event with @sultana-dreaming! Loads of fun, despite being highly nervous throughout the opening ceremony. Got a few shots with the Gil Turtles team and a special shot of @tetenuko who happened to be present~
About me: I am the heir of the Veanysus family, and signed up for the Flames the moment I was able to. I eventually rose to the rank of First Lieutenant, and now I serve the Alliance via contract in the private sector as Executive Director of Operations of Equinox Corporation. I was a fan of Blitzball in the past; now I am a player. Since I have achieved the mind and body necessary to make an impact, I have decided to pursue tournament play. I plan to make my mark the same way I did in business – with precision and flair.
Signature Move: The Spinal Tap Tackle – Ryanti smashes into his opponent, gripping them tightly as he spirals both their bodies before slamming his knee directly into their spine, sending them flying in whichever direction he pleases. This temporarily numbs his opponent for a brief time, as well as sending them towards any destination of his choosing.

Get ready for a shake up, because the Ul’dah Gil Turtles are under new management! There’s a new Gil Father in town and things are running a little differently. The Gil Turtles still host the best athletes gil can buy. Do you have to be from Ul’dah to be a Gil Turtle? No, you just need to be the best! If you think Ul’dah doesn’t seem like a place that would raise a highly skilled Blitzball team, than you’re forgetting how much Ul’dahns enjoy entertainment and gambling. The Gil Turtles train in the lap of luxury with no gil spared. In the desert where water is scarce, they play in a state-of-the-art indoor blitzball stadium that has both a fresh and salt water blitzball dome. Rumor that the Gil Turtles are a front for trafficking and illegal gambling follow the team and they may find themselves in trouble as their new manager isn’t exactly appraised on what kind of back alley deals the team is and ISN’T taking part in. These more-or-less honest athletes just came here to play blitzball, but will they’re about to get embroiled in so much more!
