Roleplay: Detention Date: 10/4/14 Participants: Robin Malaki, Gilbert Mavid, Mint Elf, Morgan Fitzpatrick, Sally Heartnet, Haar Grimm, Ciocci Fiori, Bernadette Cornelius, Wren Allaway, P.E.R.S.I., Shay Monday, Cain Kandi (mentioned)
<CelestialLeonidas>Gil: At the knock, he jumped up to open the door, and didn't hit the floor again. "Welcome to the luckiest classroom in the school!" He greeted, smiling and swinging the door open. "But to enter, you need to pay or fabulous teacher tribute. Through me. 10 dollars for admittance, Elves!"
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She spun around on her heels and started walking back to Cain's classroom. 10 doll hairs for admisson? Who kept 10 doll hairs on them at all times?!
<macxcheese>Morgan: She turned to get the door, but it seemed her eager new student beat her to it. That was all well and good until she heard him ask for an admittance fee! She gently placed a hand on his shoulder and not so gently pushed him out of the way. "Excuse him," she said to the awaiting Christmas kids. "Please come in! We were just introducing our new friend to the HA cards. You can borrow any of my extra decks if you want to join in!" With that she made her way back to a few pushed together desks with cards spread on them.
<CelestialLeonidas>Gil: Pouting at his teacher from his position of floating upside down above her desk, he faked a tear. "Why didja have to do that?" He whined. "Anything's better than those stupid cards.
<CelestialLeonidas>Ed: He smiled at the kindhearted teacher and walked into the room, plopping himself on the floor in the corner and pulling out his headphones. He didn't play cards, and he didn't know anyone besides his two elf friends, who seemed content to exist without him.
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: Ten dollars!? What a steal! Lily always charged twice that!! As Robin was about to dig into her pocket, she looked up to see Morgan. “HI Morgan!! Ca-Mr.Kandi wanted to know if we could stay here for a minute! He had some important drink thing emergency at his factory!” She looked over at the new kid. “Whoooaa, new kid! Hey, you guys are playing cards?? I can play the card game too!!” She bounced over!
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: Realizing that the entry fee was in fact not 10 doll hairs, she walked back. After hearing mention of the card game, she almost wanted to run back, but didn't because running in the halls was very naughty. She gave a thank you head nod to Ms. Fitzpatrick before walking into the class.
<CelestialLeonidas>Ed: He stayed in the corner, watching the card games with curious eyes. "Ridiculoos, thes." He muttered. "Isnae thaur supposed tae be... Learnin'? What's wi' th' cards?" He asked the lizard sleeping in his hand, loud music pumping through his headphones and into his ears.
<macxcheese>Morgan: She whipped her head over at the snarky genie, giving him a powerful glare. "Sorry Mr. Mavid, I didn't hear that. Could you repeat it?" She didn't let him answer before she turned back to see Robin and Mint. "Are you up for a game then?" She tried to ignore the red haired Christmas boy's comment. Ungrateful kids.
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: “Wow Mint, are you gonna play too!? It’ll be fun!!!” She unzipped her messenger bag and pulled out a deck of her own cards. “They were really pretty until Chubbs got to them, Ms. Morgan! They are still readable though!!” Her poor, sad cards were mangled. “Chubbs gets so hungry…” Robin looked down at the desk, ashamed.
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She went to pull out her own cards from her stockings, until she saw Robin's cards. Her eyes grew wide. "..oh noes..You can't have cards like dat! ..May I fix dem? I'm really good at fixing cards, I swears! You can borrows mine while you waits!"
<CelestialLeonidas>Gil: He looked apologetically at his teacher. He tapped her on the shoulder and flipped himself to the normal orientation, sitting cross legged in the air. "Sorry, Miss Fitzpatrick. Could ya teach me how to play?" He asked, calling one of Morgan's extra decks to his hand. "I didn't mean to be rude..."
<christgirl253>Sally: She walked down the hallway and stopped, noticing a much higher hubbub than normal in the St Patrick's room. Curiosity getting the better of her, she wandered over and peered in the doorway, her red hair falling over her shoulder as she leaned her head over. "Are you guarding these miscreants?" she asked Morgan, seeing the Christmasers in with her usual green bunch.
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: Her eyebrows raised, “Wow Mint, can you really do that?? That’s amazing!” She handed Mint her deck. “I uh…I’m really sorry about the walrus spit there! Chubbs gets so hungry…” She took Mint’s cards and rifled through them. “I didn’t even know you play! We should start a game next time Mr. Kandi trails off and mentions Rufus in class!!”
<macxcheese>Morgan: She smiled at Robin's explanation. "As long as they're readable, they're better than nothing!" She felt someone touch her shoulder and looked over at Gil. Her smile grew at his apology and she nodded vigorously. "Of course!" she told him. "Just take a seat anywhere. It's fun once you get the hang of it, I promise." As the genie settled she noticed Sally in the door. "I wouldn't call Cain's miscreants. Mine though..." she gave Gil another look. "Would you like to join us? We're just starting a game."
<christgirl253>Sally: "Oh, is that what it's about?" she sauntered in, grinning. "Only if you're ready for me to destroy you. By losing horribly." she said, sitting down with the rest. She took out the deck of cards she had - a birthday present, and she'd give you two guesses as to who gave it to her - that had been slightly supplemented since then. She shuffled them bridge style, trying to look like she knew what she was about. In reality she had played Morgan only a handful of times and had been quickly destroyed every time.
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: "Oh yes, I love cards!" She said as she flatted out the edges of Robin's cards. They needed to be painted again in a few spots, but it wasn't anything Mint couldn't handle. "It is a specialised deck, so sorry if it doesn't work with your plays style.." She looked around for some paint. She had a few with her, but no where near what this deck needed.
<Candy-Leptic>Haar: He gave Morgan’s door a hurried knock in the tune of “In this town/ we call home/ everyone hail to the pumpkin song!” His arms were crossed and his good eye squinting. Mr. Grimm was NOT very pleased! One of his many pigtailed students had taken it upon herself to HIDE every one of his chalkboard erasers. And by HIDE he meant TURNED them into chalky apples that were placed around EVERY PART of his classroom. Even worse than that, though, was that he could no longer erase his old doodles and replace them with silly new ones. To think, his classroom UNKEPT at this time of year! And no, the bugs and dust certainly didn’t count!!!
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: She cracked her fingers! “No worry! My grandma says a leader can use ANY team!! I’m always up for a CHALLENGE!!” She pumped her fist! Morgan would be an EXTREME CHALLENGE! Robin would have to bring her BEST to the table!! She looked over the cards again. “Uh just…uh…how come you only use Red and Bridgette cards…?”
<macxcheese>Morgan: "Destroy? <i>Me?</i>" She snorted. "I'll believe it when I see it!" She cracked her knuckles and began setting up her deck, that is until she was interrupted by another knock on the door. She leaned forward to see the culprit and called out, "Come in!"
<CelestialLeonidas>Ed: He watched with little interest, falling asleep in the corner of the room as cards were played in the strange way he never bothered to learn. He wished someone he was friends with came to talk to him. Fat chance of that. Sleep was good, too.
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She looked up. "Whats?" She leaned to look at the cards. THAT WASN'T HER PLAYING DECK. "Wait no, no, dat is the cards I keep cause..well never mind." She pulled some cards out of her other stocking. She quickly looked through them before handing them to Robin. "Dis is my normal deck!"
<christgirl253>Cici: She walked down the hallway. Her teacher had, once again, held an infamously short class. They didn't happen all the time, but enough that the students were used to it. She was walking down the St Patrick's hallway, looking for the Scottish boy she'd met at the dance. She had a thought to get several of the students together and have a small picnic, and she knew that he was new to the school and probably didn't have very many friends yet. She remembered all too well what that felt like. The only problem was that she couldn't find the name "Ed" on any of the doors. She walked up to the classroom itself. Maybe Miss Fitzpatrick would know where he was? She stopped short at Mr Grimm standing at the door, looking indignant for some reason. "O-oh," she said softly, slightly intimidated by him as always.
<ashestoApples>Bernadette: Her heart was pounding as she ran down the hall to where she found out everyone was meeting. Persi had said he'd meet her there, but she needed to get there first. She nearly fell over on the stairs, but she caught herself before getting to the door and stopping abruptly in front of the.... she didn't even know who this guy was. She shoved a huge amount of Thanksgiving gold pieces at him before running into the classroom right in front of the Halloween teacher and Cici. "EVERYONE, PERSI'S COMING. HE LOOKS DIFFERENT, JUST DON'T MAKE A SCENE OKAY? IT'S EASILY BEARABLE IF YOU JUST CALM DOWN." At everyone's shocked looks, she immediately pulled her hood over her head and retreated out back into the hallway, becoming the shy, quiet girl they knew.
<Candy-Leptic> Haar: He watched the whole Bearniece scene unfold. So odd! What was a PERSI??? Either way, she was already making her way back!! He stared down at Cici for a moment before opening the door for her and motioned for her to go in. He entered after and started to brush off some chalk residue that had been left on his person before looking up and realizing, it was a party! He raised an eyebrow. What was the event?? It was awfully early to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Or, had Cain dumped his kids on poor Morgan? If anything, he knew to be weary of how willing they were to decorate ANYTHING. Sweet Jack, the shorter one even had paint at the ready! He slipped over to Morgan, about to inquire whether or not she had erasers to spare, until his eye caught Sally!
<macxcheese>Wren: Hell to the yes, class had ended early again. It was library time. She scuttled down the hallway, pretty pumped. A new book on fairytales had just come in and she was going to be the first to check it out. A large group a ways down caught her attention though, and she slowed down to see what the hubbub was about. Noticing a girl from her class, she tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey, what's going on?" She didn't remember any parties planned for today, but the school had so many that she easily could've forgotten.
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: “Oh! That makes sense!!” Still, Robin kinda…mixed the dog cards in. They were still really good cards!! “Hey Mint, DO YOU Have a card?? I bet it’s the best one!!” She shuffled the deck.
<CelestialLeonidas>Gil: He stared strangely at the cards and smiled evilly as he came up with an idea. He snapped his fingers, and in the blink of an eye, all the cards in the room became little baby doves, chirping and flailing around, molting feathers everywhere. He looked back down at his cards turned birds to divert suspicion, and chuckled.
<christgirl253>Sally: She looked over as someone entered the room, surprised at the outburst that sprang from the small Thanksgiving girl. She almost commented, before her eye caught on someone else who had just walked in. "Hello~!" she said, smiling up at Haar and patting the spot next to her. "Why don't you join us?" she asked before squeaking as all her cards turned into birds. "What?" she glanced very quickly, as students were always at the heart of such shenanigans, and noted the new boy's cards turned last.
<CommanderStarseed>Persi: Strolling leisurely down the hall, he spotted a familiar hooded figure at the end of it and picked up his pace to reach her. Once he did, he slowed his trot down again and shoved his hair under his hat, tongue sticking out in concentration as he did. Once he was satisfied the curls were successfully tamed (they would never be tamed), he strode up to the small bear of a girl confidently and held out his arm, bent at the elbow. "My dearest friend!" He chirped merrily, a smile spread wide across his lips. "If you don't mind, I'd like to join you by your side."
<christgirl253>Cici: She was about to accept the situation and go in when there was a tap on her shoulder. She stopped and turned, seeing her classmate. "O-oh! I, I don't know j-just yet. I j-just g-got here. But it looks like, like there are a l-lot of people h-here," she said, glancing into the room just in time to see a tiny flock of birds rise, causing her to widen her eyes in confusion.
<Candy-Leptic>Haar: He smiled at Sally, “I’D love too!” He took a seat and looked around the table. Oh no. Sweet Jack. The CARD GAME. In an instant, they turned into birds and flew circles around them. His eye opened wide, but he wasn’t too shocked at the cards themselves!! Did he know a spell to reverse this? Yes. Was he going to? Not in a heartbeat. His eye fixated on Morgan. He was FAR TOO curious to see what she would do about this!!!
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She stared at the sudden bird in her hands. Magic. Magc used against toys of all things. Cards were toys, they were play things that children loved. She slowly put the dove down. She made a slight cough. "..I don'ts mean to be rude. But..WHICH ONE OF YOU YELLOW SNOW EATERS MESSED WITH DIS!? I CAN'T FIX ROBINS CARDS NOW!"
<macxcheese>Morgan: She watched the spectacle that was Bernadette. She raised an eyebrow as the girl backed away, only to raise the other one when Haar came over just to stare at Sally. God, she just wanted to play her cards. She glanced over to the two elves across from her, who seemed to be having a conversation about the cards before tHE CARDS TURNED INTO DOVES?! She threw up her hands up at the feathered fiends before jumping up. "WHO DID THIS," she howled. She immediately turned to Haar before realizing he didn't have that capability. It could only be... "YOU." She pointed at the genie, quickly advancing on him. "YOU-OOOOOOOO!" She howled in the boy's face. Good, she thought.
<CelestialLeonidas>Ed: He marveled at the spectacle, then got up to leave the room, seeing his friend from Valentine Ville. "Cici! You here to rescue your valiant prince from this prison?" He asked dramatically, grinning like the idiot he is.
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: She dropped the cards as they turned into…BIRDS????? WHOAAAA!! “COOL!” She watched the flutter around in delight until MINT’S OUTBURST made Robin freeze in place. She blinked at her a few times before whispering “Pst. Mint. It’s okay!! Really! I like birds…” She was about to give Mint a smile bEFORE MORGAN’S OUTBURST. Robin froze again. SO TERRIFYING. THAT HOWL THOUGH. Robin closed one eye, this whole thing was hard to watch! Still, she couldn’t help but to glow from the inside out dimly!! She had such a terrible habit of doing that when stressed!!
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: Deciding it was much better to have a teacher solve the problem then to get herself a one way ticket to the naughty list, she quickly grabbed one of the birds. She wasn't particulary good at toy magic..but maybe it would be easier if it was a toy before? She stared deep into the birds eyes, her face turning red from concentration.
<ashestoApples>Bernadette: Oh.. Oh no. She forgot how cute he was now. THAT WASN'T FAIR. Not fair at all. She tried to maintain her cool (she wasn't cool) and pulled her hood down before smiling at him. She looped her arm into his. "It would be my pleasure." Was that something her dad would say to get the upper-hand on these situations? She thought so but she just wasn't sure. Sometimes he was a loser and sometimes he was smooth. "What would you like to do this evening?" she asked, carefully choosing her words before saying them. As little repeating herself as possible would be good. She couldn't hide the blush on her face though.
<CelestialLeonidas>Gil: "Whaaaat?" He said, seemingly not phased. "I grant wishes! Looks like pumpkin man over there wished for mayhem! I delivered. Just wish for it to be reversed, and I can fix it in a heartbeat!" He fibbed slightly, smirking at his uptight teacher.
<Candy-Leptic>Haar: He sat still as Morgan howled at the boy. What fun!! He crossed his hands on the table and looked towards the little elf. Even the Christmas ones were having a grand time, from the looks of it!! He sat smiling until he realized he was CALLED OUT AND BLAMED FOR THIS?? EXCUSE YOU. His brow furrowed at the boy; “I have no resemblance to that of a pumpkin!!” How offensive!! It was one thing to bring up being a SKELETON, but he was no PUMPKIN. “I am not filled with seeds….” He muttered. “And I have nothing to do with this! I wish for nothing!!” His shoulders sunk. “And quite honestly, I would have done a much better job, really.” He raised an eyebrow and stood up tall. Did this kid know anything?? “Observe!!” He dusted his hands off and clapped once, and the birds turned back into cards, floating downwards all over the classroom. He crossed his arms and looked quite serious, until the cards hit the table in front of them, and sprouted legs!!! The cards then crawled about, and Haar let out a laugh!! “THAT’s how its done!!!”
<macxcheese>Wren: "Hm..." Turning to leave she said, "Well I'll just be going!" She froze in her tracks though when a flock of doves raced out of the room. Her eyes grew as wide as a few landed on her. She was extremely pleased and brought a hand up for one to sit on. She looked at it's graceful form. It chirped at her and she smiled Birds were beautf- Wait, what the hell. The bird chirped again, the sound transforming into recognizable words. <i>Flip a coin. If heads, Cynthia sedates opponent, taking their next turn.</i> The instructions went on, creeping Wren out. She tossed it away and began backing up again.
<CelestialLeonidas>Gil: He laughed heartily, pointing at the skeleton man. "He knows how to have fun!He yelled, then looking at the pink haired girl in the dooryway. "Glad you appreciate the birds." He said with a wink, sensing her enjoyment, then confusion at seeing the bird.
christgirl253>Sally: She stood up next to him as she found the offense building up to a bursting point. "It's true," she said blithely, "I've never seen one single seed on him!" she nodded, trying to be supportive. She put a hand on his shoulder, hoping to help him break out of his indignant mode. As he turned the birds back into cards she caught one, almost grabbing a feather as she did so. "Perfect!" she said, noticing it was a Rufus card and quickly twirling it away, saving it for a later attack. "How are we going to get our decks back?
<macxcheese>Morgan: She let out a sigh of relief as the cards fluttered back to normal. It quickly turned into a sigh of contempt as they began to scurry around. "You," she said to Gil. "Detention. Three lunches and three afternoons. And YOU." She turned to Haar. "YOU OWE ME REPLACEMENTS. AND FIFTY GOLDEN COINS BECAUSE YOU ARE ENCOURAGING THIS."
<Candy-Leptic> Robin: She leaned back in her chair and sighed. Why were the teachers always so WEIRD? “Mint, do you want to try going back to our class--- Mint, what ARE You doing with that??” Just then the bird she was holding turned back into a legged card. “Ewwww!”
<Pinkcatninja> Mint: She was about to celebrate the bird turning back into a card before it grew legs. She quickly looked around, making sure it wasn't her fault. She held the card in her hand tightly. She hit it lightly against her head. If there was one time, one freakin time to have her toy magic actually work now would be the time. She squinted her face as hard as she could. She slowly felt it stop moving in her hands. She looked back up at the card. No legs!
<Pinkcatninja> Shay: This nerd had fallen asleep in class prior to the commotion. He jolted up when he felt something crawl across his neck. He looked around for whoever was messing with him, before realizing no one was there. He put his head back onto the desk and fell back asleep.
<Candy-Leptic> Haar: He put his hand on top of Sally’s to say thank you! “Fun, we haven’t even BEGUN TO HAVE---“ He trailed off as Morgan yelled at the boy. Fair enough!! BUT THEN SHE TURNED TO HIM and he cowered a bit!! “What!?!? I was showing him how it is done!! 50 GOLDEN COINS. SWEET JACK is that what you pay for these?!?” He shook his head left and right. “All right, calm down, I’ll see that it’s fixed!” He snapped twice and the cards all perked up, and then started to march to their previous spots. “Hurry now! Annnddd! Halt!” As he spoke, the cards stopped marching, their legs poofed away, and they fell in their previous decks, on the table! Probably. They were probably pretty close. Maybe.
Sally: She scowled a little as the card wiggled out of her hand and marched to its rightful owner before sitting down. "Well then, shall we continue our game?" she asked graciously, gathering her cards as though nothing had happened, and as though she hadn't tried to steal anything. "Who goes first again?"
<Pinkcatninja> Mint: She looked at Robin and the cards. "..ya still wanna head back to our class? Dis one is weird.."
<macxcheese> Morgan: Seeing that everything was back in order, she sat down again. Her deck seemed correct, but... "You still owe me the coins. I can't have my students seeing that bad behavior has no punishment!" She smiled at Sally before gesturing to the table. "Be my guest!"
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: “MINT. If we leave, we may NEVER see a day with repercussion. AS A MATTER OF FACT, as Mr. Kandi’s most TRUSTED elf students, we must handle every scholarly situation as serious as possible. FURTHERMORE-“She looked back at Haar and Morgan. “Oh forget it. Yeah, let’s get out of here.” She shrugged and got up.
<Candy-Leptic> Haar: He sat down next to Sally and crossed his arms, pouting. “What!?!? Ridiculous!” Still, he had nothing better to do! He huffed and leaned back, watching Sally and Morgan go at it. Why was he always Morgan’s referee for this kind of thing???
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She scopped up her things in her arms. She decided she probably should have worn a hat today, but nothing matched her jack-o-latern stockings with a pink background. "Where we gonna go, doe?"
<Candy-Leptic> Robin: “I dunno! I guess we can just see if we run into anybody!” She led the way out of the classroom, pretty much unnoticed. “Mint!! Do you want me to help you carry those?? I’m really good with stuff like that!” She held the door open for her.
<christgirl253>Sally: She gave him a quick kiss on his cheek to calm him before turning back. "So, does that mean I go then?" she asked, as they both set up their starting formations. She studied her hand and cards on the table carefully before reaching over and flipping one vertically and flipping a coin. "Alright, I use EVE FOR 2 DAMAGE TO YOUR FRONT ROW!"
<christgirl253>Cici: She was watching Wren, about to say something when Mint and Robin came out of the door, startling her. "O-oh! Hello, wh-where are you two, two going?" she asked, wondering why Mint was carrying so many things the mostly looked like paints.
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She was about to answer Robin when they were greeted with Cici. "Actuallys, we didn't knows but we planned to run into anybody! And lookit, you are somebody." She turned her attention to Robin. "..but yes, please take someding."
<Candy-Leptic>Haar: He smiled at Sally kissed him and rested his head on his hand. He supposed, perhaps watching this unfold might not be too bad!!
<Candy-Leptic> Robin: “HI Cici!!! How are you??” Robin laughed at Mint and grabbed three paintcans, easily balancing them on each other!! “What are you up to, Cici?”
<christgirl253>Cici: "Um, n-not much. I was thinking about, about h-having a picnic, m-maybe? Since it looks like, like we're all o-off of class. D-do you need help?" she asked the small elf girl who was still holding far too many paint cans.
<macxcheese>Morgan: She switched her Eris card to the back and on defense. "That's okay, because my card renders your team defenseless!" She moved her Morgan card to the offensive. She crossed her fingers and flipped a coin. Heads! "This one will scaring away your Eve card!" She smiled triumphantly. "End turn."
<christgirl253>Sally: She frowned, then activated her Emma card. "Hah! Emma throws a pie at Eris! John's there too, so 5 points!" She nodded happily, then chose a card to replace Eve on the field.
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She shrugged and move her arms a little closer to Cici. "Thank you for da offer, take as many as ya wants."
<christgirl253>Cici: She picked up three paint cans too, barely balancing them. She was most certainly not as good as Robin was at this. "S-so do you, you want to h-have a picnic? It's almost l-lunchtime, any, anyway."
<Candy-Leptic> Robin: “Sure!! That sounds like a lot of fun, really!!” She went ahead and took two more paint cans from Mint. Where was this all coming from??? “Maybe we should find a place for these first!!”
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: "We could put dem in the Christmas common room for laters, and dat way we can get hot chocolate for the picnic!" Mint could have suggested her room, but hot chocolate was just too tempting of an idea.
<macxcheese>Morgan: Chewing her lip, she threw her Morgan card to the graveyard. She switched Eris to stagnant and drew her Annice card. She rolled the die, but alas, it showed a 2. Sighing, she played her Red card. "5 points on John!" It was a weak card and could be taken out easily.
<christgirl253>Sally: She sighed with a huff, pushing her Bernadette card forward and rolling the die. It landed on a 3. She sighed and looked over the cards. "2 points from Red, I guess." she scowled. Bernadette was basically immortal in the right circumstances, but she did almost no damage.
<christgirl253>Cici: "Okay! Th-that sound g-good!" she said, letting the others lead the way. Fortunately, it was never hard to get food in Holidays Academy.
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: She smiled and skipped down the hallways in the same direction her and Mint originally came from. When they finally got to the common rooms, she rebalanced her paint buckets and held the door open for them in a sort of balancing act!! The Christmas dorms were her favorite!! A large fireplace that constantly burned was in the middle, with the Christmas Town light blue flags hanging around it. In the middle was a large, circular couch, and a chandelier decorated with red ribbon held lights that laminated the room in it’s entirety!
<macxcheese>Mrogan: Rolling again, the die landed on a 6. She scowled. "Well at least my team gets 2 bonus points for being against Bernadette!" She used her Red card again, dealing 5 more damage points to John.
<christgirl253>Sally: She sighed and moved John to the graveyard. That was a little overkill. She hmm'd at her hand, finally picking Sophie and laying her down, then reaching over and activating Hollow. Flipping her coin, she laughed in triumph. "Red is distracted for a turn!"
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She put her paint buckets down near the couch. She made a dusting off motion with her hands and took a deep breath. The Christmas room always smelled amazing, but maybe it was just Mint. "Alrights, I can carry the hot chocolates if ya guys want! It is the least I can do-s for you guys!"
<macxcheese>Morgan: Her grimace deepened as she realized her offensive turn was gone. Closing her eyes, she rolled the die again. <i>Four, four, four, pleaseee,</i> she prayed. She peeked an eye open and whooped at the sight of the lovely number four. "Ten points HP for my team!"
<Candy-Leptic>Robin: She inhaled just onneeee more time!! SO GOOD. “Yeah, okay!!” She led the group out the door and into the Thanksgiving hallway. She had seen John and Emma here so often before, it was kinda like a second home!! She held open the door for her comrades and motioned for them to go in first!
<christgirl253>Sally: "UUUghghGHGHghghUUGhghgh." she grunted at the STUPID LITTLE SHEPHERDESS CARD. Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. Wait! HaHA! "SOPHIE ATTACKS ANNICE FOR 15 DAMAGE!" Can't be used again for three turns, but worth it to get the dumb Easter teacher out of the way.
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She looked around the Thanksgiving common room. She hadn't been there very much compared to the other common rooms. She wanted to hold her cheeks in awe, but with three hot chocolates in hand, it wasn't possible.
<Candy-Leptic> Haar: He raised his eyebrows at Sally and gave her a smile. All worked up over a small little game? Oh Sally! He used his finger to ‘draw’ doodles on the table. “Saaalllyyy, if you lose, I’ll take you out to dinner afterwords, all right?” He laughed. “If you win, we still go out to eat, but Morgan foots the bill!!” In all fairness, he totally would pay either way, but to work up Morgan sounded like too much fun!
<christgirl253>Cici: She looked, trying to find a Thanksgiving student to help them. "N-now we j-just have to find a, a Th-thanksgiving to go into the, the k-kitchens for us. We c-could just take snacks from, from their c-cupboards, but I d-don't like doing that without permission any, anyways."
<macxcheese>Morgan: She huffed heavily at the attack and slammed her Annice card on Haar's hand. Whoops. How funny, she could have sworn the graveyard was there! She pulled out the Cain card and flipped a coin. Heads or tails, it was good either way. The coin landed tails and she smirked at Sally. "Three cards, lets see them."
Oh Sally! She pulled out the Cain card and flipped a coin. Heads or tails, it was good either way. The coin landed tails and she smirked at Sally. "Three cards, lets see them."
<Pinkcatninja>Mint: She got a big grin on her face and looked at Robin. "I dink someone knows a thanksgiving student~" She did the biggest wink possible and playfully elbowed Robin.
<Candy-Leptic> Robin: Her face flushed red, and she lit up for a moment! “Miiinntttt!!! I don’t want to have John steal for us…” She sighed and pull on her hat. “I guess it’s kinda just borrowing though…” She tugged her hat one last time and walked down the hallway to John’s room, and knocked her signature Jingle Bell knock!
<christgirl253>Sally: She started to roll her eyes (and her head) when Haar spoke up. She smiled and leaned her head over a little, before huffing again. Before she could even appreciate his offer! How rude. She blew her hair out of her eyes (it wasn't even in them) and flipped three cards around. Greg, Bridget, and another Hollow. There. Now she knew. Once she reclaimed the privacy of her hand she tilted her head, trying to think. She laid down a Prudence card, tucking it safely in the back rows. Now all of her team would heal five EVERY TURN, HAH. She looked at her cards, mulling over what to do with her offensive action. She chose Bernadette again, poking her at a random card on the field and rolled. "Two damage!" Hopefully she wouldn't fall asleep, she hadn't drawn a Persi yet.
<macxcheese>Morgan: As Sally put her cards back, she wagged her finger. "Nuh uh, Cain let's me discard one of those. Say goodbye to Hollow!" She pulled out Cynthia and laid her on the offensive. Flipping a coin, it landed on heads. Morgan cheered, "Cynthia sedates Prudence!" She kept Cain in the back, giving her team plus five motivation. Whatever that meant.
<Candy-Leptic>Haar: He pulled back his hand quickly and inspected it. “Was THAT completely necessary??” SERIOUSLY. He could bruise, for like, LIFE! Or Death! FOR A LONG TIME.
<christgirl253>Sally: She did a small upset wiggle, pausing to kiss the back of Haar's hand. "Hmmmmmmmmm." she said, studying her cards again. She sighed heavily and poked Bernadette again. Maybe she could just wear everything down, but targeted Cynthia this time. She rolled. "Twoooooooooooooooo damage!"
<macxcheese>Morgan: She switched Geoffrey out for Cain and rolled, getting a nine. "Bernadette is distracted!" She took out her Eve card and switched it with Cynthia. "Two points damage on your team!"
<macxcheese>John: His head whipped up as he heard a familiar knock. Wiping his forehead, he felt something wet. He looked at his pink painted hand and realized he must have fallen asleep on his palette. Again. Quickly finding a rag, he rubbed it off as best as he could and ran to the door. He saw Robin and smiled, hoping she wouldn't notice whatever was left on his face. "Hello dear, how are you?"
<christgirl253> Sally: "Hey, hey hey!" she said, her eyebrows knitting together. "Um, um..." she flipped through her cards quickly. Cupid's wing, Finley was useless. Eventually she found and laid down her own Cynthia card. Geoffrey was too dangerous. She flipped her coin. "FRICK!" she cried. She whispered harshly, "Betrayed by my own sister,"
<Candy-Leptic> Robin: “Hey John!! Uh, Mint and Cici and I were wonderin’ if maybe you could---“ She started to laugh, “J-John, what’s on your face?? You tickle me pink! Hahahahaha!!!”
<Candy-Leptic> Haar: Careful to keep all of his limbs fairly close, he leaned over to Sally. “Perhaps you should try that one!” He pointed to the kid he kicked in the flowers that one time. Ah, that was a lovely time!! “Win or lose, you’re still playing remarkably!” Both of these women were terrifying him, in complete honesty. He’d take on a battle with the antifounders than either of them when they’re like this, any day!
<macxcheese>Morgan: It was time for the take down. She flicked Eve away and laid Sophie down. "15 points. Prudence." She kept Geoffrey, intending to distract Bernadette.
<christgirl253>Sally: "UGGggGHH" She looked at her cards again. She rolled her eyes and laid down her Kale card. "5 point jab at Sophie!" she declared, frustrated at losing her healer.
<macxcheese>John: His face fell flat at her joke. He tried so hard to look cool but just, life man. Rubbing his forehead even more, he admitted, "It's paint." Once he was satisfied that most of it was probably gone, he leaned on the door frame. "So what do you need?"
