9.Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.

(im answering for gil on this one bc i’ve thought abt it a lot for him) gil has lot’s of nightmares, mostly of what happened mindoir and akuze. or he dreams of his family/friends dying and he’s unable to do anything, like in dreams where you literally can’t move at all. after akuze, he had such vivid nightmares so often that he stopped trying to fall asleep and instead he sits up at night until he absolutely can’t anymore. usually he reads history books and recently he picked up some omnitool games from the citadel that he plays a lot :~) nerd..,, im just gonna add that he sleeps much better when miri is w/ him  <3

3.What’s one skill your character really wishes they had?

gil’s really friendly and likes talking to people, but he’s not very good at initiating social interaction w/ strangers, which is something he’d love to be better at

10.Your character has discovered that they only have a week left to live. What do they do with that time?

this is super cliche,,, but he’d just wanna spend time with his friends. he doesn’t have any family members left, but he’s got the normandy crew (and miri <33) also gil is very anxious so if he /knew/ for certain that he was going to die, it’d be hard for him to grasp (even though in his line of work it’s like. you could die whenever,,, actually knowing he’s going to die would be completely different for him, bc there’s nothing he could do about it, it’s going to happen no matter what) sOOo yeah like,, i kinda think he’d want things to be as normal as possible except yknow spending more time w/ people. he’d probably spend some time chilling w/ miri on a beach somewhere watching the sunset too

14.Do they have someone that they consider to be a family member, even if they’re not related to your character by blood? What was one of your character’s favourite moments with them, and what makes them so special to them?

ok this is gonna be Super Vague bc i hate coming up w/ backstories and i only have a rough idea of this,,, but gil’s childhood best friend meant a lot to him. they grew up together on mindoir and both survived the attack, then joined the alliance together and were together on akuze, but only gil survived that. they were like brothers and obviously they had a lot of shared experiences. gil had always depended on him (can you tell i dont know this guy’s name yet lmao) and took his death really badly,,, this is so sad id k im sorry gil

20.How would your character define love?

gil’s the type to probably say some deep shit like “love is a feeling, it can’t be described”… but yeah also he’d describe it as feeling like that person is home, they’re someone you can always depend on and go to,,, 

26.Has your character ever been hurt or betrayed by someone they thought they could depend on? What happened?

this is in-game and doesn’t actually rlly answer the question,,, but anyway gil was rlly affected by toombs, especially during the events of me2. he understood him being angry and not wanting to forgive him but it didn’t make it easier to accept, ,but yeah  he had a pretty good relationship with a lot of people on akuze and he hates what happened there, and how he survived when no one else was rescued.

34.Has anyone ever given your character a really important gift? What was it? Do they take care of that gift today or have they since lost or broken it?

ugh this kind of question makes me wish i had rlly planned out pasts for all my ocs… but he does have his ~unnamed~ bff’s dog tags, bc said friend had no other family and gil was so close to him. 

48.Do they have any health conditions?

physically, he has asthma and quite a few allergies; mentally, he has bpd, dpd, gad, ptsd and depression (probably persistent depressive disorder) (notice me projecting probably all of my personality on him lol) 

59.Have they ever had an encounter with someone that changed their whole life?

hHMMmm… miranda <33 he’s demiromantic and miri is the first romantic partner he’s ever had and he’s sososo in love w/ her,,, i could go on,,, but i will leave it here before i go on abt them too much ,,, this answer is boring lmao bye

67.What was the most acidic remark your character’s ever given to someone? And their reaction?

honestly this is a good question for gil bc it rlly makes me think. he’s not the type to randomly throw out acidic remarks, so it’d have to be something he’d been thinking a long time and even then, he’d have to be pretty angry to say it to someones face. also idk if this question is asking for the other persons reaction to this remark or like gil’s reaction to saying it. but yeah gil would- in most cases at least- regret it almost as he’s saying it, he’d be angry at himself for getting pissed off enough to say something acidic to someone he cares about. sO yeah do u see how i got around the question :~)
