From what I've read, Thranduil gets along well enough with the other Elven realms, it's just that his realm is more isolated. I mean, he stayed with Gil-galad in Lindon even after his father left, he imprisoned Gollum for Gandalf and Elrond and he worked well with Celeborn and Galadriel during the Ring War. Wasn't it his father, Oropher, who was stated as not getting along with the others?

OOC: That all depends on where you get your information from. Tolkien was never really 'definite' with his writings on Thranduil, in fact, I'm pretty sure Thranduil originally started out as Thingol( or one of the other Elven Lords whose name I cannot remember but it started with T), and then Tolkien changed his mind. Anything related to Thranduil is often speculation or just a chosen set of information. Where Thranduil is concerned I always rely on my favourite of Tolkien's opinions and my headcanons. And practically all the people I have spoken to agree with Thranduil and Galadriel didn't entirely get along very well, all of that would stem from the Last Alliance and the events before hand, I'd imagine. In the end, though, it's whatever you choose to believe. :)

PS. In some of Tolkien's works it was not Oropher, but Thranduil who led the Greenwood army in the Last Alliance, hence why sometimes people say that Thranduil was the first King of the Greenwood elves... most like to say it was Oropher who led the army, though, as this gives more feeling to some of the actions Thranduil makes.

I don´t know if i'm confusing fics but I was sure I read this fill thread=19838204#t19838204 and I swear there was another part where Charles investigated his ancester and this Erik person until the ghost forced him to stop (he didn't get to find anything important). I know is a WIP but I was sure there was more there? Do you know about it? Thanks for everything!
