so. poses cutely. i wrote a thing. my humble addition to the cannibalismverse Summary: An attempt is made to mitigate SCP-963's consumption of manpower. Said attempt does not go as anyone hoped. Dr. Gears helps pull its keeper back together in the aftermath.

Fears au?

Fears au is an au where jaylynn and gears are codirectors! Its mostly about autism to autism communication, and also gender being complicated <- one of the major conflicts in the fears au is jaylynn being very confused and conflicted about being a closeted trandfem who is attracted to gears who is a gay man

Things that happend differently in the fears au: Adam didn't die, and because of that jay ended up living in a foundation dorm instead of a civilian apartment because Adam would never have allowed that. Site 71 doesn't have onsite accommodation so Jay's first foundation job wouldn't have been on the finch family site. The only reason jay is a mycologist is because Evelyn suggested it would be a useful field for working at site 71, but because she never worked there in this timeline, fears jaylynn ended up finishing her chemistry degree.

Jaylynn was never able to retransition in fears au. In default timeline she was forced to detransition while hospitalized, but after Adam died she slowly retransitioned in private while staying closeted at work. But because fears au jay lived at her work, there was no private life to retransition in. It is killing her, and is a contributing factor to her relapsing in her drug use while working at site 19.

In modern day of fears au jaylynn is a codirector of site 19 with gears. Gears accidentally walks in on jay doing her incredibly autistic drug rituals, and they form a strange little relationship based on gears being the only one who knows about her addiction and the only person she can talk openly about it with

We've got a Talloran I drew in a fit of hysteria (plus a Lament I wasn't going to post but couldn't crop out), an Agatha, a Konny holding The Thang, pocketwatch fluff, a doodle of my take on 590 (i'll post more about him in the future ooooo) and some goofy doodles of baby cog and clover because i just think everyone should look at them actually (sorry the quality is so crusty on all of these)

Okay I thought of some good angst from your drawing - what if the removal ritual had to be used on gears after an accidental exposure?

TLDR of how i think it would go is basically cog is, well, very cog about the situation, clover is freaking out the entire time and calls cog an idiot in the tone that one does when theyre concerned for someone's safety but being kind of a bitch about it, and cloves tries to be Normal about it after they're separated but mayyybe cries a little (read: a lot) after she sees the scar
