Our Barn is typical of an agricultural building built in the local area during the 17th & 18th centuries. As a major source of reference, Peter Hall who built it made several visits to the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum in Sussex and a number of features of Gildings Barn are a careful replica from structures at the museum.
