ngl sometimes i wonder if part of why gilgamesh is so multidimensional is cuz sometimes hes a king, sometimes he seems off duty, sometimes he's doing god knows what, sometimes he sees a situation and just well... does what's either what he deems best according to his role but then sometimes may act in his own interests too?
Yea i know that may be obvious to some but i struggle with understanding duality. Idk i dont have the means to box him anyway.
Idk my homies im wondering if Gilgamesh dallies between his duty as a king and his personal desires, especially as an arbriter of desires who leads humanity but then also does the wildest ass most human things sometimes. Like is he toeing the line between his duty and personal desires? Like the tyrannical king can be seen as both a persona but also a way to release some of his darker desires too. Maybe sometimes he performs as a king but sometimes maybe not. Guess maybe the king could be his main identity.
Is Gilgamesh a king because he's Gilgamesh, or a king because that's his role? 🤣
I dont know ok i mean why wouldn't a king with a role as heavy as his also have some desires, make mistakes, try to guide ppl but maybe not always in ways that others understand... hell maybe not even in the actual best ways either 🤣🤣, be a dick sometimes and i guess have feelings too. And still keep on learning about the world and his own place in it.
Idk he seems wise to me but also like he's jamming down piano keys or sm and going "fuahahaha watch my new fangled creative endevours at work" and its like "gilgamesh that the wrong ass key" and his face briefly pales and he goes "what folly mongrel, i who know humanity better than most! I would never dare to lay my golden digits upon a failed key" and its like "is this ur first time playing piano gilgamesh" and he just laughs it off and keeps jamming keys because though he knows all the secrets of the world, and all the inner workings of the piano- not even he can find the solutions to all that is to come... maybe even gilgamesh has limitations i guess. To know everything but maybe not have all the answers on how to face it sounds rough.
