Cu Chulainn- Various Faces.

I always misunderstood Cu Chulainn, because I admired him so much that I was unable to really see him. Cu has many sides, both good and bad- but maybe that's where his charm truly lies. I wouldn't say I get Cu any better lately, but maybe that's okay. Maybe that's just who the character is. But I do love me a guy with a beast inside his heart, as well as a soft side.

there is one gilcu author on ao3 that wrote great works of Gilgamesh and Cu just enjoying their lives together. hanging out in the church, contemplating the weather, gardening etc its really cool.

Lancer Cu Chulainn w/ an s/o that's a disaster in the kitchen

Cu is going to be teasing the life out of them

Someone pls save s/o

When he finds out that they added half a cup of cake flour to a custard, Cu is going to be amused and maybe slightly concerned. 

“How do you add two cups of cake flour to a custard that calls for five tablespoons of all-purpose!?!?”

“Well, umm… I might have been looking at the wrong recipe?”

Doesn’t really know how to bake in particular, knows more about cooking. 

He’ll try to help out by looking for a recipe to replace the now ruined custard.

Ends up helping you turn the mess into something edible.

Will keep a close eye on s/o to deter any more slip-ups.

“So the recipe calls for baking powder… Wait, that’s baking soda!”

Somehow, you end up with something that you can eat.

Although, he doesn’t eat a whole lot of it. 

Cu is still feeling sick from their last concoction. 

“How is it that something can look good, but taste that terrible…?”

Still, best doggo Cu will always be both honest in his opinions and supportive of his s/o.

Though, he still prays every night that they don’t burn the house down while baking.

Given his easy-going nature, he’s not going to be upset by some mishaps.

At the end of the day, local 5-star chef Cu can cook/bake if the situation is looking dire.

“Jeez, you’re pretty terrible at this. Ahah, don’t worry about it, I’ll fix something up tonight.” 

Really though, he can’t help but wonder…

“Ah, y/n, I was just looking for you.” You winced, turning slowly to face Dr Roman with a tired smile. “Just one week of rest, one week. Why is that so hard?” Roman merely shrugged, lips pulled into a taught smile. “Sorry, but apparently saving the world doesn’t leave much time for breaks.” “Except the annual holidays.” “Well, yes.” He scratched the back of his head.  You chuckled and shook your head. “Come on, show me the fire I’ve got to put out.”

You followed him back to his room, Cu materialising out of thin air beside you as you walked through the door. A couple of others were there as well, Da Vinci of course, Medusa beside her chatting away happily, Lancelot and Kojiro  stood calmly beside each other surveying the servants, your gaze followed their line of sight to where Siegfried stood to attention beside the console. You offered him a soft smile before glancing over at Roman. “The floors all yours.” He coughed. “It’s a fairly small singularity, all things considered, but still. Should be fairly easy to deal with, it looks like it’s all Archer class. The readings are picking up one servant, also Archer class, but nothing worse than you’ve handled before.” You frowned, casting a sideways glance at Seigfried. “I’m sorry Seig, I promised I’d take you next time but…” He nodded his head. “Do not apologise Master, I understand. The Archer class is strong against my own, and it would not do to weaken my Master in such a way. Perhaps next time.” You nodded sadly. “I really am sorry Seig.” “I see, so you apologise to him and yet you scold your King?” You rolled your eyes as Gilgamesh appeared in the center of the room in a shimmer of gold. “I don’t scold Gil, I merely point out that you turn down such missions.” You sigh. “Do you want to come?” “Of course not, this is not a mission for a King. Take your dog with you.” “I intend to. But I won’t hear any complaints out of you when we return, agreed my King?” Some of the newer Servants shivered, muttering between themselves worriedly as Gilgamesh narrowed his eyes at you, but you didn’t flinch merely keeping your gaze levelled on the King of Heroes. “Such an impertinent Master, be thankful I am fond of you mongrel.” He huffed, disappearing into golden mist once more. “Well, now that’s done, who else can I take?” “Surely I’m more than enough Master?” You glanced over your shoulder at Cu and grin. “Gods it’s a good thing you’re pretty, if you think I’m letting you go into anything alone you’re an idiot. As wonderful as you are, even you can’t take on waves of enemies alone. Let’s see, Houzouin is still healing… Emiya is on kitchen duty after the last mission… I can’t put a Saber at risk like that…” “Y/n? There is another Lancer.” You turned to Roman, frowning deeply. “I… no, I didn’t forget any of my servants. I know I didn’t.” “Ah, he arrived while you were away. He was quite excited when he heard Cu Chulainn was among our ranks.” The doctor chuckled and nodded at the blue-haired lancer behind you. “I’m not sure which of you may have competition but I feel like one of you will.” “Riiight. You and I will have words later about this, but for now, where is he?” “You may thank me later.” A golden portal opened, depositing a man clad in green leather in the midst of the gathered servants. You rolled your eyes, bending down to offer a hand to the man. He took your hand, golden eyes fixing on your face as he bowed his head. “Master, I am Lancer, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, it is an honor to serve under you.” Still holding your hand he pressed his lips to the back of your hand. Your face flooded with warmth, a deep chuckle resonating in your mind as you stared at the new lancer. “Perhaps I best tell the hound and the fake they have yet more competition, hmm mongrel?”

His shoes would have been open but I can’t draw feet sooo also his shirt is see through, though it’s be fun to try that idk if that comes through in the drawing.
