Was just so lovely to get away from City. Maggie is also here but not feeling too good : think she did too much walking at beginning of wk. Went to Camden on the Frid. & returned on the Sat.: had had quite enough. Her legs are very much swollen & if not better will [?] with me tomorrow night & see the Dr about them. Jack arrived in Sydney last Tues. night but is not coming down here for another ten days. We are with [?]. Am so glad you had such an enjoyable holiday & when you talk of staying on just makes me think there is a very big attraction somewhere about. Suppose this Bachelor’s Ball next Frid. night 5th Oct : & my Birthday so [keep?] it up - will [settle?] things. In your letter you said 5th Nov. but was a mistake [...?].
