A Netflix divulgou a lista do elenco que vai estar na animação musical de stop-motion de Guillermo del Toro. Baseado no conto de Carlo Collodi, a história é ambientada na Itália dos anos 1930, período da ascensão do facismo de Mussolini. O filme é definido como "uma história de amor e desobediência conforme Pinóquio tem dificuldades para atingir as expectativas do pai". Gregory Mann será Pinóquino, Ewan McGregor será o Grilo Falante, David Bradley será Geppetto.
