What an incredibly interesting man Andrew Lang must have been... poet, anthropologist, historian, art critic and fortunately collector of folk and fairy tales. I wonder if he controlled the illustrations and board artwork for his books. This is the first in a series of gorgeous books edited by him. This first edition Princes and Princesses was published in 1908 and illustrated by Henry Ford.
