Gimmari / Korean Fried Seaweed Rolls (Vegan)

Gimmari is crispy Korean fried seaweed roll made with seasoned glass noodles wrapped in seaweed, then deep fried in tempura batter. These savory snack rolls are a common Korean street food and are often eaten with tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). They are easy to make at home and irresistibly crispy!

There are PLENTY of other ships that I love but none that I necessarily obsess over to the same degree as these two so I’ll just say Zuko + myself because I love him with a burning passion and have wanted him to be my boyfriend since I started the show. (If it hadn’t been so long since the last time I read the Percy Jackson books I’d probably say Percabeth but fanfic about them was never my favorite so a lot of my excitement for them has died down over the years just out of pure lack of exposure. I think that’ll be fixed soon though ‘cause I’m planning on starting a reread soon.)

I found it at a little library this week (one of those cute book swap things people sometimes have in front of their houses) and had to take it because a lot of my friends read it for school in like 2015 and wouldn’t stop raving about it ~ I’m not even 2 chapters in and I’m already having the best time,,, it’s so gay and the narrator (I don’t know his name yet) + Phineas will probably make it into my top ships list once I actually finish the book.

Food craving:

I’ve recently really wanted Gimmari (deep fried seaweed rolls filled with glass noodles) but there aren’t any good Korean restaraunts close enough to order delivery and I am a bad cook :(
