He lifted the drink up to his glace “face,” seeming to examine it closely. This was Limbo in rare form; relaxed, not working, along for the week. The Khamsin Inn, celebrating opening its second location in El Segundo, was hosting an invite-only espresso tasting, and, given that he was a regular in their North Hills location, the killer might as well make an appearance.

“Wanna try it?” he asked sliding the tiny glass across the table.

“I can only drink cold things.”
