"Well, that's a new one!" They grin ear to ear. It seems that whether that's a threat or a flirtation is irrelevant. Or maybe they're actually delighted about either. Actually, knowing them, it's definitely the latter.

In Viktor's Siren!Verse, their monstrous transformation actually gives them a crucial weakness: they're a water creature now, and therefore become weaker when kept from any water for long periods of time. This results in fatigue, nausea, malaise really, and definitely no singing powers. It's honestly an easy way to detain them and imprison them. Well, if you can catch them to begin with.

Those icy blue eyes fell on the face of fear itself without any of their own. They lingered there, something that was dangerously close to surprise growing across their features as they processed the words.

"Ah, any, you say?" They practically sing-song back at him. "Ha, now that'd be a first for me to wake up to. It'd be fun news for once~" They softly laughed, eerie melodic, until they slowly stopped. They looked at their dearest Professor with a more earnest expression.

Now, Viktor couldn't rightly say they remembered all of last night, though they knew well that they had found themselves happily lounging about Crane's domain, perhaps feeling themself too much like an alley cat basking on warm stones in a room others would only feel the bone-deep chill of terror and death in, watching him work with lazy eyes, marveling at long thin fingers moving like spider legs across an intricate weave of chemistry.

It probably didn't help that a little intoxication on dubious chemicals and the thrill of adrenaline was not necessarily out of the realm of possibility, either. But surely, they'd remember that.

Though, maybe it was silly of them. After the cuts and bruises of a marriage that never came, yet that they couldn't find it in themself to pretend that the idea now, here, with him, wasn't bullthorns and briars they'd so very eagerly jump and lay in again with a laugh and a grin and reckless abandon. After all, he was the only one to look at them as if he saw the Angel buried beneath the rotting blood and bone and gristle...

But this was not the confines of their foolish zombie skull and all its wanderings. This was outside. They blinked again.

Stared at him.

Then their eyes went wide. "... Ah, wait. You are—" Serious. "Are we...?"

“You’ve been staring at my mouth all night.” Joker hummed tapping her, quite literal, blood red lips.

Maybe they had been, lounging off to the side like a lazy cat, eyes locked on her face for a long damned time. They really did look blood red, like they were skinned clean off, or like the glistening maw of some vicious beast as it devoured its weight in some prey's guts, still with those sharp light teeth gleaming from behind them.

They had a certain beauty to them, in that way. A bluntness, honesty that tore through the carefully woven social gossamer zombies wrapped themselves in. They admired her for that much, despite everything.

"Hm?" They roused, and in an instant their own teeth bared in a smirk. They hadn't realized they had let their fingers be smudged black as they so lightly brushed their own lips in thought. " Why, yes, I was surprised how long you were actually quiet for, dear! It gave me a chance to admire the color."

They lean in closer, dragging their fingertip, the edge of their nail, up Hieron's collarbone and along all the gentle curves of their skin; up the groove of their throat by path of their jugular, to the soft vulnerable flesh under their mandible, all the way up until they firmly cup that jaw and tilt their head up in thoughtful adoration— even though Hieron's already taller than them by a good few inches. They rub their thumb across the lipstick, painting their skin with a pretty little smudge.

"Maybe I should get closer."
