Visiting the set, The Sunday Times' Ginny Dougray noted that Whistling Gypsy [Potter's production company] employed women in key creative and technical roles, including producer Rosemary Whitman, editor Claire Douglas, director of photography Sue Gibson, and Potter's daughter Jane, who painted John's illustrations.
