5: who was your favorite teacher in high school and why?oh my god, i havent thought about high school in so long. i think it would have to be my math teacher Ms. Keener and my world history teacher Mr. Unsinger. they both made their classes fun, which is amazing coming from me because i hate math and history lol

6: do you wish to travel a lot?a lot. honestly i think about traveling all the time. just getting away from things for a while, coming back (hopefully) with a new perspective. it all sounds too good to not think about

11: do you like your siblings? why or why not?you do know, but i will say again, i absolutely adore my brother. he’s one of the best things in my life <3

18: a random memory from you childhood:the first time i got my eyebrows done (definitely not my childhood but a hilarious story) the lady who did them is a good friend of my mom’s and knows exactly how sensitive i am to everything, so she went extra gentle and took like two hairs off at a time. i still ended up crying a river and she got me chocolate cake to shut me up cause her son was watching me and apparently i scared him with all my tears….

Achcha baba, deti hoon! Goodness. 

So my nana & nani met my dada & dadi in Yemen. My mum’s side only lived there for a year before moving back to Kuwait, and my dad’s side was pretty settled there for a bit. They met at parties and would go over to each other’s houses after said parties and party a little more on their own. The men folks would go to bed early, but the women would stay up well into the night enjoying each others company.

My dadi had told my nani, “Munira mujhe tumhari hi beti chhahiye” when she was looking for Pa. She literally fell in love with my nani and said I want her daughter for my son. LAF EET. Here’s the kicker. At that time, all of my dad’s siblings older than him were married, he was next in line. Pa and his two younger siblings were in Yemen with my dada and dadi, as well as one of his older sisters who was already married. From Ma’s side, everyone was in Yemen, even her older brother who studied in England, except Ma. omgfasdhfl;. Ma had stayed behind in Kuwait with her nani because of her school. 

So, long story short, Pa met all of Ma’s siblings. He went cycling with her brother, babysat her baby sisters, the whole shebang, but he never met Ma. Ain’t it delicious?
