I’m not sure exactly what that thought was but, well, here we are.
Ultra quick sketch before my energy drops again, this weather lately is killing me, it’s all rainy rn and while I love the rain, my bones hurt and I’m kinda sick. I’ve basically been in bed all day hallucinating-
N-Finity can change his height at will (both because hes segmented and because he can swap his lower legs with other attachments) so he can be between between 6-7 feet tall but he usually stays around 6’5.
Apparently, in canon (though I’m not 100% sure how true it is because nothing and everything is canon it seems), N-Gin is only like 4’1 so yeah, the height difference is just hilarious especially when you remember N-Gin did that on purpose lmao
No context posting because I made myself blush at work and I must subject everyone to the nauseatingly sweet fluff, I can’t keep it to myself. It’s too much to contain.

"You’re doing it again," He whispered, his voice losing its edge.
My gaze flickered—a quick flash of neon violet reflecting against his faceplate before turning to a vibrant red. "Doing what? Being the only person with taste in this building? You’re welcome."
“You’re being difficult because you think I’m going to get tired of you," He said, his cybernetic eye whirring as it focused on my face, gently taking my hands in his. "You’re worried that all of this—“ He trails his finger over the rose gold patch, “—ruined you, so you’re pushing every button I have to see if I’ll call you 'dolly' or a 'failure'."
The lab went silent.
The ball bearing I dropped stopped rolling. My cooling fans, usually a steady purr, suddenly stuttered into a high, frantic whine.
"That is... an incredibly stupid theory," I muttered, though I didn't pull away. I looked down at my new hand, watching the way the still shimmering patch caught the yellow light. "I’m just a brat. You built me this way.”
"I built an assistant," He corrected, reaching out to rest a hand on my shoulder, right where the brunt of the collapse hit, gently rubbing his thumb over the seam. "And you made a partner. And no amount of… of clunky hands or burned desks will change that. You’re an absolute nightmare but you’re one that chose to stay. And… I’d like to keep you, if that’s okay.”
I sat with that for a long moment, the silence of the lab pressing in, an ache filling my chest, an ache I can now describe as… longing, as our gazes finally meet.
"Fine," I whispered, leaning down and bumping our foreheads together. "But if you’re going to keep being this sentimental, I’m demanding a twenty percent increase in my oil allowance, the expensive one that smells like daisies. And I want the glitter polish for my nails. If I’m going to be a 'nightmare,' I’m going to be a sparkly one."
