In all honestly, Ging is probably more the fwb type

He doesn't like to be tied down

As evident by his lack of parenting to Gon 🙃

He'd probably be like "It's ok my dad's an amazing hunter :D"

So if you are looking for a "relationship without labels" Ging's the guy for you

When you first met him, you were turned off by his brass attitude and rude behavior

He's might be shy but he's outspoken on alot of things

If you are a ruins hunter like him, he will test your knowledge, constantly feeling the need to on up you 😒

↘ Ging – although he doesn’t look like it – is a really big romantic who loves to share his thoughts with people close to him, like you.

↘ The man has been traveling for years and has no time for private meetings with people who mean a lot to him. That’s why, he always sends such people letters.

↘ He writes down his ideas, questions, and describes his journeys and the problems he encountered. Sometimes, in addition to a letter, he sent his own photo or a small souvenir from his trip, such as a small flower, exotic leaf, dried insect or a piece of shell.

↘ By some strange coincidence, with sending letters to his own son, cousin or other Zodiacs, there is no problem for him, but for you... it’s totally different. Letters to you are completely different, filled with other, more intimate feelings. Almost like a confession straight from the heart. Often they are literally confessions of feelings towards you, the girl who made him feel dizzy.

↘ You rarely get a normal letter from Ging. Rather, they are postcards from towns or villages that surprisingly have a post office. You are not complaining, although you would like to receive something bigger and more private from him. After all, you like to know what your friend is doing and you also love reading letters, which for you are the most beautiful form of contact with another person.

↘ Fortunately, the current journey of the dark-haired man was one of the shorter ones, so your reunion was less than two months after the previous one. Ging visited you at your small but cozy cottage, bringing in a basket full of your favorite fruit. You were overjoyed to see his stupid smile and worn shoes again.

↘ This time, apart from the aforementioned fruit basket and a few dirty clothes, Ging was holding letters tied with a piece of bright string in his hand.

↘ There were definitely more than ten letters, maybe even twelve. You weren’t sure. However, each letter on its front had your name and surname as well as the exact date of writing the letter. Some even had postage stamps with your address.

↘ “... Read them when you have a moment and tell me what you think, Y/N.” He smiled gently, and in response you just hugged him tightly, inhaling the characteristic smell of dust, smoke from the fire and... roasted fish.

i dont accept the pregnancy stone theory as canon, and here's why

before i get into my big whole rant I'd just like to state I'm not saying u can't believe the pregnancy stone theory etc. I'm just explaining why i personally don't accept it! I respect everyone's opinions and ask for them to respect mine as well :]

Alright so first of all, before i can get into why i don't like the pregnancy stone theory/why i dont accept it i have to explain what it is first 💀

The pregnancy stone is one of the 100 designated slot cards in greed island. Basically using the card summons two stones (one for an amab child and the other for afab) the player can choose the sex of the child by picking either or. The stones weigh around 7 pounds each and the player has to carry it around for about a month or so in order for them to become pregnant (regardless of sex)... if you set the stone down at any point in time the counter resets, and you have to start over again. (This information is actually canon btw)

OKAY so. Now that you know what it is, this whole stone thing takes some planning, and you have to go through a whole process... not to mention the fact that you have a whole month to decide you don't want to do it anymore and don't want to fall pregnant.

We all know how ging is. He's not the kind of guy who would plan for children, and certainly isn't a family guy. So why the hell would ging carry a 7 pound stone around for a whole month, knowing he would then become pregnant, and give birth to a child whom he would have to be responsible for for the next 18 years?? Hm?? It just doesn't make sense.

Ging is spontaneous. These actions dont line up with how he works, at all. In my opinion even if he did decide to use pregnancy stones in a heat of the moment decision, he would definitely put the stone down and leave it down before the whole month period was up, because he doesnt want kids!!!

Its BEYOND OBVIOUS ging did not plan for gon to arrive!! To be brutally honest, one could even go as far as saying he didnt want gon. Which lines up with the fact he ditched him with mito and literally stated he didnt want to see him in the tapes. Ging isn't a giver. He's selfish. He likes to live by his own rules, and having a child doesn't allow for you to behave in such a way.

So ? What do i think happened? Well its honestly rather obvious. Ging was either in a relationship with a woman at the time, or had a one night stand with someone. He was either too immature and irresponsible to use a condom, or the condom broke, leading to an unwanted/unplanned pregnancy. And so 9 months later this woman leaves gon with ging. He takes him to greed island, and begins setting everything up for when he leaves him with mito. This is planning ging would do, because he knows he doesnt want to take care of this child for any longer than he has to. And so he leaves gon with mito, and leaves the island to go live his life.

I mean if he HAD planned for gon, and wanted a kid, don't you think he wouldnt have put so much effort into making sure he wasn't found??

The only thing he leaves is the box for gon, and gon himself, making him virtually impossible to find. Someone who wanted to be involved in their child's life, someone who planned for this child to be born, and went through a lengthy process just to have said child, wouldnt behave in such a way. The pregnancy stone theory just doesn't make sense when you consider the fact it's ging were talking about here.
