Basically, I belonged to purifanstar, a wiki devoted to information on (planned or written) OC fanfics for Precure. (It is a terrible wiki, for reasons detailed here, and everyone who's into this sort of thing should go to PrecureOCs instead.) One of the regulars was ryanasaurus0077, who had a very creepy obsession with Emma Watson.
Now, some people like to do fancasting for their stories, just for fun. I enjoy this myself, because it's a good way to get across how the character sounds in my head. Ryan decided that one of the stories needed Emma Watson "voicing" the lead character, the author disagreed, and Ryan took it personally. Very fucking personally. He then ripped said story off as a ~rival series~ because this is how Ryan resolves conflicts. Over imaginary fandubbers. Really.
