I was walking around the town late one evening. The square was gleaming with Christmas ribbons and wreaths, gold and silver trees stood out at every corner; red and green lights spread out over every surface, it was a haven of festivity. Mortals spared no expense when it came to Christmas. I saw a giant teddy bear looming in a store, surrounded by fancy toys and trains. I stood fascinated by the miniature trains, watching the tiny engines ride past me on its tiny tracks. Toys had come a long way, I couldn't get enough of toys and the entertainment they provided. Electronics, action figures, puzzles, games.. I decided to go to the biggest toy store in New Orleans and buy as many new types of toys I could find.

One of Claudia's favorite things about the holidays were the Christmas lights. She remembered when they use to put candles in Christmas trees until they released it was a terrible fire hazard. Everyone was doing last minute Christmas shopping while she was people watching. Wearing black leggings, knee high black boots, a red sweater dress beneath her dark grey pea coat, she sat on a street bench alone. She had been sitting there for a few moments before she noticed a near by familiar presence.
Her night just became so much more interesting.
Pushing off the bench, she weaved through the crowd of human's until she spotted the familiar auburn hair she knew oh too well. Yet she didn't make herself known right away. Instead she watched from a distance and waited to see how long it would take him to notice her.
