Happy Winter Solstice & Yule everyone! Last night was the Winter Solstice Full Moon. So for a combination of things I cleansed my crystals, lit some white sage, expelled heavy thoughts from my head/heart, made a Yule gingerbread poppet, and did a reading for myself. I asked my cards to tell me what I need to focus on for the next few days. I drew the Death Card. (It doesn’t mean I’m gonna die or someone is going to die.) I’ve had these cards for about 14+ so we are pretty connected and when you are, you know what your cards are telling you. Typically the death card means: the ending of something, change, transformation, and transition. Being in relation to my question and what the card is and the beautiful full moon was telling me. It means transformation for me. It means all the growth I’ve been experiencing this past year is actually paying off. That my time has come to blossom and change into a new better version of me. That this coming year will have the change and the transformation that I’ve been working so hard for. I also made a gingerbread poppet. Handmade and filled with herbs, essential oils, and bits of crystals that will protect me and my wishes and carry them over to the new year. My poppet is filled with black jasper, rose quartz, sage, rosemary, all spice, cumin, cinnamon oil, pine oil, frankincense oil, and adorned with red ribbon and bells. In my brass cauldron I have clear quartz, rose quartz, bloodstone, garnet, obsidian, citrine, & moss agate. It’s my 1 year spiritual journey mark. Its the first time I’ve celebrated all the sabbots consistently and just for myself and my personal growth. It’s been a fun and really wonderful journey. I can’t wait to do more and experience more of what the universe would like to teach me.
