[ Messes with his cheeks, just to see if there could be any sort of little sign of rubber effect ]
The face didn’t stretch as much as usual, but used to the distracting grabby-hands of those amazed by his elastic property, Luffy continued his meal without so much as grumble.

A brothel, really? DAMN THAT LUFFY! Approaching towards the one that looked more 'similar' to her captain's description Taking in a deep breath the ginger took a firm step until she faced the rooster-like man. "Oi! Are you the one in charge of this place?"
Shooing off another rowdy patron, Bazz-B was in the middle of lamenting the standard of customers around here when the woman approached him. The brothel attracted all sorts, but usually the only babes were the ones working inside. Even they had questionable aesthetics. It was Darby Lane, after all.
Her question disarmed him for a moment, people mistaking him for a lot of things, business owner certainly not one of them.
“Err.. I guess I’m your best option? You got a complaint to make?” He almost asked if she was looking for work, but he’d been slapped for less before.
“I understand you’re upset, but it’s not really my fault that the salesman did not agreed on giving us that discount. That place is not gonna last with that attitude.”
“Yeah... but now I look like the bad guy for buying all these things at full price!”
Damn Nami for being so convincing. It wasn’t even like Ino was doing a job at the minute to justify the money she had spent.
And she couldn’t very well hide the little girls’ frocks from Itachi, could she?
Recovery Time
gingercatburglar:
“So pretty!” the ginger exclaimed as she was admiring a ring that came with the souvenirs she brought from that party. Those people in the Armelle Mansions truly had a good taste! That was until a loud knock (or slap) was heard from her door, hiding everything below the couch and heading to the door, the navigator was kind of confused, it’s not like she took a lot this time, she had to keep a low profile after all. “Coming~”
Although, as soon as she opened the door, Nami’s eyes widened and was quick to catch her captain, “Luffy!” she exclaimed before slowly helping him to lay down, “Hang in there!”. Heading straight to the phone, as well for some couple of towels ( a wet and dried one) not wasting a time to call -or more like demand- an ambulance. If only Chopper were here this would’ve been faster and easier.
Cleaning as much as she could of his blood, “Help is on the way Luffy, just keep hanging there! Don’t fall asleep–” she explained. The young man lost a lot of blood, probably on his way here, taking him to hospital herself was too risky. Holding his hand gently, after making sure to feel his pulse, she furrowed brows, there was only one person in this city that would’ve done this, that targeted him. “You’ll be all right, but I need you to keep fighting for a little longer.” she said calmly.
…
Fortunately the paramedics arrived in the span of no more than ten minutes, and Nami was not one to leave her captain behind either, “Hey! Careful with his hat!”
Slumping into his navigator’s arms as the door swung open, Luffy felt a sharp pain in his shoulder once again as Nami lowered him to the ground, running about in a frenzy whilst he lay just inside the doorway. He watched, in a slight daze, orange hair flowing one way and then the other, more and more objects stacking in her arms before she finally returned.
He lay perfectly still, not saying a word as she addressed his wound, shirt flung off her shoulder as she got to work. He closed his eyes, trying not to focus on the pain, however this only seemed to panic Nami further, so he resolved to dully stare at the roof.
When the emergency services finally arrived, they seemed even more frantic than Nami had been when he arrived. Most of what they discussed was foreign to the Straw Hat, however one thing he did pick up on was their decision to ‘get him to the hospital immediately’, something he wouldn’t be able to abide by. Before they were able to place him onto a strange, flat plastic thing, he pulled himself upright, with great difficulty, shoving one of the paramedics away.
“I’m not going anywhere...” he replied meekly, using the frame of the door to support himself. The paramedics seemed gobsmacked by his assertion, and one of the unfortunate members even attempted to subdue the Captain. Whilst grabbing the shoulders of a usual patient in such a state would have been more than enough in most cases, even in his injured state, the paramedic was no match for Luffy’s strength, his shirt crumpling as the pirate balled his fist around it.
“Don’t you get it!? If I go to the hospital that guy will find me!” With his injuries, Doflamingo would know he’d have to be treated, and locating him at a hospital would likely be his first option. He’d have to recover somewhere he wouldn’t be found, and Nami’s apartment seemed like the best bet at this stage. “Do what you can here, and I’ll make do on my own. But Nami, I’m gonna need meat, and lots of it!”

A verbal answer wasn’t immediately given. Instead, from where Hancock sat in her car, she simply opened the door to allow the navigator in the sleek vehicle.
She hadn’t time to dilly dally.
“Get in the car, and do it quickly. I have questions to ask you along the way.”
