Random question, has Trayzn the Infinite tried to add you to his collection? (For Evren)
“Don’t say that fucking name!” Evren, who’d scrambled under her desk at the sound of the hated syllables, dared to peek over the parapets to glare. Then she looked around wildly, as if the sound of his name might’ve summoned the Necron right to her. “...Yes. Once. I don’t like to talk about it. Thankfully I managed to destroy myself with a belt of grenades and soul-surfed to one of the backup bodies in my lab. I assume he must think that killed me because he hasn’t bothered the Legion since... Either that or he’s biding his time.”
She scowled deeply. “Urgh! I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate him! It’s bad enough that he’s snatched so many people, including some of my nephews, but Fabius told me he has a clone of Fulgrim. The idea of my own brother being trapped in his collection, me not being able to save him... I hate him so fucking much.”
How would you describe your oc’s voice? Do they have an accent? Do you have any voice claims for them? (Nehetari, I hope I’m spelling their name right 😬)
I'm not quite sure what a voice claim is, but 'Tari's voice is... ...well it's honestly whatever she wants it to be. A high-born Necrontyr like Nehetari has a way, WAY wider vocal range than humans, even more so than most of her kind. Having to spend much time out of the sun in caves and wandering around at night, Necrontyr evolved the ability to mimic sounds as a means to defend themselves from predators in the dark (most lost this ability after the bio-transferrence). Nehetari's "unconcious speaking voice" is about the middle of the range yet possesses a deep, resonating quality that makes her words carry and sound slightly baritone. Like someone playing smooth, deep chords on a viola.
As for an accent... ...she had one briefly as she first started learning high and low gothic, however her dizzying intellect and natural affinity for sound mimicry meant she soon mastered the language as the "reforged" iron warriors have. If she indeed does have an accent, it is the same accent that Perturabo possesses.
Bonus: As being one of the very, VERY few sentient creatures in existence to EVER hear the princess of the Necrons laugh, Perturabo attests that her laugh is like a crystal bell ringing under water. Soft, high pitched, and with a hint of a kind of warp energy the galaxy has not seen for millions of years.
A seemingly young woman with unusual glowing amber eyes looks up from the dying Word Bearer who’s soul she is apparently draining. Her face is that of a thief who’s been caught in the act. “Ah...well this is awkward. Um, hi?” @the-wandering-lady
Dante looked down into a pair of eyes the same colour as his own. He blinked. It was unusual to find that tawny hue in others. As far as he had known, he and his mortal father had been the only ones. That was wrong it seemed. He glanced from the woman to the corpse and back again, “You know those ones are filthy, don’t you?” he asked. He had no idea what she had been doing but it looked like she was eating the Chaos Marine. “If you are that hungry, there are rations with my companions back at the drop point,” he said gesturing behind him. “They will be far better than... that.”
An incandescent figure with ethereal wings stood before the Primarch clothed in what appeared to be unusually gilded and ornate flak armor. Purity seals decorated said armor’s surface and a melta gun was held towards Magnus at the ready but had yet to be fired. “I know who you are, I think.” He said. “Why have you brought me here?” (@hisholinessderyl)

The presence the being before him exuded a measure of power, but it was not carefully controlled nor completely bound. It had been obvious, even from a passive glance, that this man standing before him was a Living Saint long before he made proper contact. Ripples in the Warp spoke of the creation of yet another, but he had still expected something... more.
With a simple gesture, he knocked the gun away with a small telekinetic push. “You will need more than that if you are to wound me,” he said with a small half-amused snort. “You think you know me? Then tell me, who am I? The answer to your second question may come from my own.”
(Couldn’t find the symbol so I hope this suffices) For the Mun: You are kind, patient and always a joy to interact with.
TENDER TUESDAY
AWWWW THANK YOU SO MUCH! Though the meme asks I give your mun a compliment. You are a great addition to the community as well as your lovely muses! You’re also fun to RP with even if I’m horrible with my replies. You rock the socks!
🦂 an example of something cruel my muse has done (Evren)
Evren was silent, eyes downcast and hands raised in a pose of deep thought akin to prayer or supplication, fingers interlaced. “...apologies, it’s just that I’ve done so many cruel things it’s hard to pick one. Like asking me to pick a particular meal I’ve eaten.” The Grand Inquisitor smiled ghoulishly. “Of course, me being who I am, the two’re often the same thing.”
She cleared her throat. “...sorry, I’m digressing, aren’t I? Umh. Right. Anyway. I suppose I could start at the beginning, shouldn’t I?
It all started when I accepted the position at the SCP Foundation, as a junior researcher. Not the cruelest thing I ever did or with the largest body count, but in a way it was the most important and the worst. Because it made me into the person I am now. Set the path for everything I ever did afterwards.” Evren lowered her hands, picking at her nails.
"I started out at Site-91 in Yorkshire. This was before I was transferred to a position on a Mobile Task Force; they wanted me for my background in Nälkä and biomancy, not my Perpetuality. None of us, not even Father I don’t think, knew exactly what I was capable of back then. Most of the artefacts at the Site were objects. Things. A few places. Plants and animals. Some anomalous diseases. That kind of thing I could handle. As long as they didn’t think or speak. As long as I didn’t have to listen to them. I tried to avoid the ones who talked. Of course, not all the talkers were human. Some just used to be.
Every day, I woke up with a weight on my chest. I was a traitor to my mother’s family. To everyone like me in the world. I was defending humanity, sure, but the Foundation didn’t see me as human. When I spoke to my colleagues, I always felt they were judging me. Watching for the slightest little slip or mistake, the least excuse to shove me in a cell where I belonged. They knew I was a psyker and a Sarkic to boot. No matter how good my work was, how many results I got, I was nothing but a scip on the wrong side of the bars.
So I tried to be a good girl. Prove I wasn’t a troublemaker. I followed the rules. Showed no mercy to my fellow anomalies. Leapt into their philosophy with both feet. Tried to be the perfect researcher. I got used to being treated as disposable. We die in the dark so you can live in the light, right? It didn’t matter what happened to me, not really. And it didn’t matter what happened to anyone else; people didn’t matter, as long as humanity was safe. Even if I wasn’t- even if the blood wasn’t on my hands, specifically, I looked the other way. Supported it. Which was... either equally as bad or possibly worse. Still not sure.
So that was my first cruelty. It’s at the Foundation’s knee that I learnt how to ignore my conscience. Turn people into things. The torture and killing, the experiments, came later. First I had to learn to be... the kind of person who hears a kidnapped child beg for their mother and turns their face away. I try to be kind, I tried to be kind, but Throne. It doesn’t matter. It never mattered. So I gave them candy and stuffed toys and books, but they were in a cage! And for what? Because they could make pretty lights by thinking hard.
...If there was a Hell, I’m damned sure I’d be going there.”

“I’ve found that the imagined versions of this place are quite fascinating,” Magnus said with a small smile. “Some of them do mirror my own visions, but I’ve found that people are equally repulsed or intrigued by what they find. Of course, some are also a little terrified, but that is completely understandable.” He shrugged, looking skyward for a moment.
“Many have lived in lives that were so dull and monotonous that change in any form is anathema to them. A tragedy, really, to have to experience such an existence. Change is not something that should be feared. Hopefully you and all others like you will come to understand that.”
