Changing Tracks
Well, I signed up for the End of the World Bang...and then I backed out. I talked with my co-author and my beta and YES this story is still going to happen. It’s just not going to be part of the EOTWBang. We may join the crossover bang this winter, but the current one has a longer word count and things just were not coming together fast enough to meet the deadlines. Or we may just strike out solo and do it ourselves without a bang. (Anyone out there who would fancy doing art for a Glee/Firefly crossover story?!)

In the meantime, there’s another idea I’ve had percolating for a little while, and it started coming together in my head, and then I saw sign ups for the Kurt Hummel Big Bang...so I jumped in. It’s a shorter word count minimum, and I already have enough of the story together in my head that I know it won’t be hard to make it. This will be a companion story to the one I wrote for the Blaine Anderson Big Bang, only telling Kurt’s story during that same year (Blaine’s senior year and Kurt’s first year in NYC). Blaine’s story (if you haven’t read it) is “I Kissed a Girl.” Kurt’s story will be told in the same format, with lyrics from a song as chapter titles.
Kurt’s story will be called
“The Edge of Glory”
And now I’m going to go write!
