This Apricot and Ginger Glazed Chicken is a delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors, with a hint of ginger adding a zesty kick. The apricot glaze caramelizes beautifully, creating a glossy finish that perfectly coats the tender chicken breasts. It's a quick and easy dish, ideal for busy weeknights when you crave something flavorful yet fuss-free.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 cup apricot preserves. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 teaspoons sesame oil. Sesame seeds for garnish optional. Chopped green onions for garnish optional.
Instructions: Add salt and pepper to the chicken breasts. Soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil should all be mixed together in a small bowl. Use medium-high heat to warm up a big skillet. If you need to, add some oil. The chicken breasts should be cooked through and browned on both sides after being added to the pan. This should take about 6 to 8 minutes per side. Spread the apricot glaze out on the chicken breasts and turn them over to cover them all. Let the chicken cook for another two to three minutes so the glaze can thicken and cover it. If you want, you can add sesame seeds and chopped green onions as a garnish. Enjoy while hot!
