Omfg. Jason being bitter about the senate is beautiful. In canon he hated certain rules the romans set up and apparently the senate (+ whoever else calls the shots on the legion?) kept stopping him from trying to change things into something more fair for everyone. IMAGINE the shade once he's the pontifex. Reyna and Frank struggle to keep up poker faces but they're trying so hard not to laugh whenever Jason shuts Annoying Senate Member number whatever /down/.

Pls Jason's a total sinner, but not voluntarily it's like a reflex he's developed after hanging out with Piper/Leo/Percy for so long. He understands far too many dirty jokes to not be a slightly burnt cinnamon roll, slightly embarrassed that he got the joke and bitter that he can't get the image out of his mind.

Tbh I agree? Chances are Jason probs had some kind of foster family for a while but we'll never know because RR is super duper fond of inconsistent storylines and can't fit it anywhere in between his adventures in getting knocked out for Plot Convenience™. The bit about the brick thing, hah... How do you even apologize to someone for attempting to kill them with a brick. "Hey sorry I tried to maim you and your gf for siding with the greeks that one time! Come back to CJ soon Jason!!" Yikes.

yikes x 100. i can’t even joke about it tbh. the “knocking out jason bc it’s Funny and convenient” thing went sour so fast. like… okay fair enough, he’s a goof. i can agree that he’s a big goofy baby now and then. but ?? rick went to so much trouble setting him up as a powerful/experienced roman too? he killed a sea monster, fought a titan, took on a giant on his own to buy his friends some time, literally called his dad, Drama Queen Supreme, zeus “unwise” to his FACE bc he thought hera/apollo were being unfairly punished/blamed. and it’s so inconsistent with this thing where a fight will happen, and jason is literally the only one getting injured to that extent. was there a reason for it?? like any fucking reason for it???? nope?? 

and the brick thing…….lmfao you said it. yikes
