To me Austin Butler is like, a guy I knew something about and then I met him at some mutual friend's party and we became very good friends through an intermediary so now I go see his movies to support him, because I'm very fond of him. There's no carnal attraction whatsoever he's just... a good friend of mine.

Yes anon, yes!! I knew jackshit about the show, I'm not a huge WWII buff like my nerd friends (♡) so I didn't even know that it was based on real people, I kept hoping they would actually get together lmao
But yes!! Back then Callum had been already living rent free in my mind since the second Fantastic Beasts movie — we're talking about 2018 lmao — and he's the faceclaim of one of the characters in my novel (novels, actually, there's 4 of them) so when I saw he was going to be in a new show I just had to watch it to gather more material, ya know?
And then episode 4 happened, I almost had an aneurysm watching the London scenes, and the rest is history ♡
My oldest friend is turning 30 today.
We've known each other since we were 3, there truly isn't a single version of me she hasn't known, or one of hers I haven't.
I'll be teaching theatre again this year 🥰
I've taken up a few creative hobbies this year to buffer the time I spend working/writing on screens and I'm slowly mastering crochet and let me tell you once I'm done with this gingerbread man amigurumi it's over for you bitches
